All we wanted was to stay one night for Valentine’s day but we got under qualified sevice, had to ask multiple time to get more towels, and was double charged, with one of those chargers overcharging us for our room, leaving me overcharged in my bank! I would give my stay maybe 1 and half stars because atleast we had a jacuzzi tub that worked unlike the coffee pot that spilled hot water and a tv that wouldn’t get any channels.
I greatly appreciate the Hotels.com platform and have used it faithfully over the past few years. This can be seen through my dedicated booking throughout the years and most recently during my move to Miami, Fl, since August 2021. I have stayed at several hotel locations in the area and have been pleased with the service. However, my most recent stay with Zenmotel Inn, 575 NE 61st St, Miami, FL 33137 (Confirmation #: 9177476643861) was not the best. The reservations were set for Sat. Nov 6, 2021 until Thurs. Nov. 11, 2021. I departed on the morning of Sun. Nov. 7, 2021.
During this stay, I have discovered roaches and recorded videos of them on the counter and dead ones along the baseboard. The video recordings and pictures are available. On my initial check-in at night, this was not observed. After discovering this issue, I immediately called Hotels.com customer support, who contacted the property and wanted to put me in another room. These vermin do not stay in one central location and having them in one room means they are in another room. Moreover, there was no immediate action until today when I received a text message from the establishment stating they were bringing in an exterminator.
The presence of such bugs is a health hazard, as they defecate and are a nuance. This is not only unsanitary, but it is also unpleasant to live with. The Hotels.com agent informed me that there would be a ten-day hold on the return of my pre-payment ($441.96), which is also unacceptable. This letter is my next attempt at resolving this issue in an expedited manner.
It was booked under United Airlines, June 9th, from Austin to Spokane, like I said we live in Spokane and I wouldn’t have booked two one way trips from Austin to home. The round trip tickets are $388.66, I did get the hotel that your company booked reimbursed for $500+ but not the airfare. I already have round trip tickets with priceline and DO NOT want these tickets that were issued without CONFIRMATION. Thank you,
I have been a loyal customer of yours for over 10 years and have used your site frequently. This last time I tried to book 2 round trip tickets and a hotel to Austin your site kept timing out on me. I had tried at least 6 times over two days and when I got to the final step it would say”session timed out please return to search again” after doing this over and over I decided to book with another company because I couldn’t get through to an agent either, your company used to have great customer service and if I had an issue there was always someone to help, not the case this time. I happened to look into my bank account on Monday, May 3rd and there was 947.66 dollars taken out of my account, needless to say I was extremely upset!! I had no confirmation and no sign of any bookings for hotel and/or airfare in my account. I did finally get ahold of a gal (in the Phillipines, really) and she refunded my hotel but said she would have to get a flight specialist to help me with the 2 ONEWAY tickets from Austin to Spokane…by the way, we live in Spokane so I wouldn’t have booked just 2 ONEWAY tickets…she said she didn’t know how she could do this and a Manager would call me within 48 hrs….hasn’t happened and I have booked this vacation for my husband’s birthday. I am a waitress and don’t have $388.66 to throw away, by the way it’s $388.66 for 2 round trip tickets!!! I spent hours looking up flight information. I really would like my money reimbursed. I am not going to let this go, this is basically stealing and if I need to take it further I will. I ‘m hoping that’s not the case and you make this right!!! My phone # is 509-939-1075. I will be writing a letter to BBB and Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO, and if needed the Attorney General. This is not O.K.
