Greetings,
We are a FPL co. customer in Manatee County Florida. One of neighbors is in process of selling their small farm and their plats has notations that the abandon railroad, that runs along both of our west property lines was originally the Tampa Southern Railroad and then under Florida Power and Light Co ownership.
Is there a department in FPL that can help me verify the “ownership” of the abandon railroad with deeds or easements? We are in section 7 and 8 in township 34 south Range 18 east.

i would like to purchase abandon property in fort myers. this property no longer needs to have poles on the property. everything in underground. could you give me some direction as to who to talk about this matter
I called FPL phone number from my bill to notify them that there are scammers telling people they owe money.
I found out that Florida Power and Light does not care about their customers because the person who I talked to was manipulating the whole conversation.
I also got a call from Florida Power and light telling me I cualifymfor Solar Panels. The only way of getting them is by financing the whole thing.
I am going to the conclusion that the solar panel call must have been a scam call too.
It is sad that Florida power and light do not look after their customers.
I run a business in Lee county Florida, we were affected by the pandemic , shortage of parts, etc. Had to turn power on in a building that we have, FPL is charging me a $2200.00 deposit , I asked to have the CEO office contact me , of course no phone number. I asked to have it in payment plans , of course no , I asked to see if there was anything they could do regarding the deposit , and again of course no . This is not right , the response from FPL is , if you were a residence we could wave the deposit , but since it is a. business account , they can’t do anything . Shame on FPL , If I treated my customers like FPL treats me , I wouldn’t need to have this email because I wouldn’t have any customers at all. I am not stopping here , without small business , FPL wouldn’t have no business. I highly don’t recommend FPL , but I will be getting ahold to someone at the CEO Office to let them know how their employees are treating people . If we were in a normal economy I would even say anything , but as everyone know , things are difficult when you can’t get parts, help , etc. It is a shame that someone as big as FPL won’t work with business , even in there own county .
I was hurt on an FPL on December 9, 2020 it was SIMS AND PIKE job. I was an employee for Sims Crane and Equipment I have not been paid since I’ve been hurt. My family has lost everything and Sims is trying not to pay me. The doctor says my arm will never be 100% normal ever again. I have to have surgery on my are to repair the damage done to me on that day. Sims Crane has ruined my life and they don’t want to take responsibility for what they have done. Please help me.
