6/5/23 My son, who is also on my account needed a tow from Albemarle, NC to our hometown. Representative asked “is it in NC?” Repeatedly insisted I have “basic plan”
Which was 3 tows & 1 unlock. I corrected her stating ” I have AAA Gold Plus”, there’s also some confusion on their part concerning our card numbers, originally mine ended with 3, my sons card ended with 5, now the numbers are switched. They charged $100 for the tow & $0.50 for every mile after 4 miles, our home is well over 4 miles from Albemarle. The driver finally arrived 3 hours later, only because the rep. chose to be argumentative & doesn’t have the ability to multi-task
Wow I can’t believe all of the complaints of people who have had bad experiences with this company AAA. I am just one more person that agree this is the worst company ever and how they’re still in business is beyond me. I also was stranded called AAA which I pay for membership I don’t know why but will not be renewing and will let everyone that I know and Facebook what a horrible company this is. I called them because my keys were locked in my car and it took them 3 hours to get to me and I was at a public park in Pratt Kansas which we have people here that could have unlocked it but they called somebody from Harper Kansas which is not even close. The person that showed up did not look like he represented this company totally unprofessional and had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth the whole time he’s working on my car I was already so frustrated with this company that I told him nicely just fix it so I can get out of here. Every review I have read it has took anywhere from Two Plus hours for someone to respond and in case this was an emergency I don’t know what people would do. If this company is this big and they cannot do any better than what they have done for all these people they should not be in business and should not represent themselves as a reliable and trustworthy company. I have another experience several years ago and again it took 3 hours I was in a ditch off the highway with water up to my door and it took them 3 hours to come and Rescue Me. I ended up calling my best friend and having them come and get me out of the car till they could show up and tow it away. I am so disgusted and so upset and frustrated that I will not put myself through this again and I’d advise anybody that’s even thinking about going with this company thinks about it long and hard because you’re going to be highly disappointed. I am not going to renew.
AAA left me stranded last night. After 4 hours it was determined they did not have a service provider, told me to call my own towing company. I called two. Neither responded. AAA didn’t care. They said to abandon my car and take an Uber home! And they would not be responsible for any theft or damage to my car which was in a remote parking lot. This company used to have a sterling reputation. How did it go downhill so fast?
SERVICE IS TERRIBLE
On July 8, 2022, AAA left me stranded from 4:00 PM to 9:45 PM.
Their services has gotten horrible and they obviously do not care about good customer service.
I am a female who have been with this company since 1987. What a way to treat loyal customers!
When I first started out with them, services were totally different. Their style of service will continue to decrease when customers are treated this way. I have a total of 5 siblings who I got involved with this company.
All 6 of us will leave them due to poor service. Anyone wising to join should give it a second thought.
Insurance companies offer the same with better service and appreciation.
As a premier customer of AAA , got worst service from them in Tennessee. We were at a land fill pulling heavy trailer up a hill when I blew both tires on rear of my truck. Called AAA who left us stranded for over 5 hrs because they said no company wants to drive up there. We finally got a tow company said he do it. AAA cancelled call on us didn’t tell us.we had to call back and reset appointment so guy could get dispatched. AAA left us stranded in bad situation been member with them for 20 + years. I decided since we are gonna get crappy service from them ,what’s the point of keeping my membership.
I also have a similar complaint where the wait time (over 2 hours) decreases the value of what I’m paying for. This has been the second time within 6 months that this has happened I felt I had been left out on the road for hours…it is an extremely unsafe and harrowing feeling. Because I’m a female woman of color I also have to take into consideration that there was a possibility of racial bias and as well I have heard of other complaints from other women of color. My request for the inconvenience of this ordeal is to receive all my yearly payment back for the two incidents.
11/19/2021 around 1:pm I called AAA today, and was told that walker towing would be at my location at 2:04 pm to hall my car that could not be drivable. I waited two hours for walker towing. I ended up walking home, and I have health issues with my legs. 8:38 pm and walker towing still has not hauled my vehicle to my home. It is still setting at reesedale road, and old reesedale road intersection Adrian PA. I have been calling AAA 1-800-222-4357 since 2:04 pm and no one will answer my call. My card number is 6202152065358006 for AAA to investigate this issue. This is the second time that I have had issues with AAA. Why is AAA doing this to me. I say AAA is guilty of crimes against Gary Eugene Savage. If I can find an attorney, I will fill a lawsuit against AAA.
