    To Whom it May Concern

I have spent almost $10,000 on Maintenance Service for my Nov. 24, 2015 Audi Q5 that I purchased NEW. At less than 5,000 miles I had Brake and Rotors replaced and since owning this vehicle I have had to do this two other times. I replaced brakes and rotors almost every year. I have never even driven out of the State with this vehicle and work less than 10 miles away.

Every time I came to the dealership, it was recommended that I get service that is not even listed in my owner’s manual. I paid for the recommended service because the service advisor told I that if I didn’t get the service that I would be back at the dealership within a few months with Major problems.

Those services that were recommended included a brake flush that I paid for on two different occasions, a fuel flush, I have had several alignments after having to replace at least three single tires only to eventually purchase all four tires. I have been charged a $200 labor fee after the oil was changed…. Yes, I paid over $300 for an oil change.

I have had all my required maintenance service done with Fletcher Jones and have paid almost $900 for Audi Care for the 35k and 45k service but it doesn’t seem to cover anything. I have been to your dealership (Fletcher Jones) over ELEVEN TIMES because I was having an issue with my New Audi Q5 that is now 4 years and 3 months YOUNG!!!!!

On 27 February 2020, it was recommended by the Audi Care Service Advisor and put on paper (IN YELLOW = TAKE CARE OF THIS NOW OR WITHIN A FEW MONTHS OR I MIGHT HAVE A BIGGER ISSUE) according to the chart. I needed AN A/C CLEANING FILTER (ADVISER SAID IT WAS DIRTY), AN ALIGNMENT, ROTATION AND BALANCE OF ALL FOUR TIRES!!!. MY RESPONSE IS OK, DO THE WORK BECAUSE IT ALL SHOULD BE UNDER THE WARRANTY BECAUSE I JUST HAD ALL THESE SERVICES DONE IN MAY 2019 (NINE MONTHS AGO)!!!. PLEASE RE-DO THE WORK BUT IM NOT PAYING FOR IT.

I only have 32,000 miles on this vehicle. I am now being told that I need a Water Pump because the coolant is low and seeping out and again if I don’t get it replaced within a few months the service advisor stated that I would have major issues. This would’ve been covered under the 4-years/50,000 mile warranty, but it just expired two months ago!

If I am given the Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection why is this something that wasn’t noticed, I observed that on one of my repair copies it states that I don’t have a FILTER. WHERE IS IT? The service advisor stated that I needed a new filter because it was dirty.

NO ONE SHOULD SPEND CLOSE TO 10K on a garage kept vehicle that was purchased NEW and all scheduled maintenance was completed including the fact that the vehicle is less than five years old…… UNLESS THEY WERE SOLD A LEMON!!!

I am questioning the AUDI Brand, the AUDI Products (tires and brakes) and the way the Audi Customers are treated (advised to purchase costly services that aren’t even needed). On 27 February 2020, at 32,000 miles, I paid over $2,000 and not one item was for a 35k maintenance service that I pre-paid for.

UPDATE: I spoke with a Service Manager ON 02 MARCH 2020 who advised that the Water Pump will be taken care of by them on Monday if I bring my vehicle in but I asked what about the BRAKES. He stated that I couldn’t be reimbursed for them even though they have been replaced 3 times since I have owned the vehicle. That has only been 4 years and 2 months. There must be a defect IN THE BRAKES AND ROTORS OR BOTH BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY I SHOULD HAVE NEEDED A REPLACEMENT OF ROTORS AND PADS 3 TIMES WITHIN 4 YEARS AND I ONLY HAVE 32,000 MILES ON THIS NEW 2016 AUDI.
