    Being a frequent flyer at the local Buffalo Wild Wings here in Mechanicsville, VA, I regret typing this e-mail of dissatisfaction after having lunch just now.

    While typing, I’m also on speaker phone, calling your corporate office, and it continues to ring, without any voice-mailed option OR a live person answering my call. And now, it stopped ringing, only to disconnect me from the call. Is this how you respond to your customers? By ignoring them?

    As I stated, I just had lunch at BWWs here in Mechanicsville, VA, and ordered the All-American Burger, single patty, with an additional order to have bacon on that burger, an additional slice of pepper jack cheese, raw onions instead of grilled and no mayonnaise. I chose the potato wedges to accompany the burger, which I thought was no additional charge, but they charged me extra for them anyway.

    I paid $11.50 for this burger only for it to arrive with one slice of cheese, no raw onions or pickles (which it’s supposed to come with) and the bun was not warm and certainly didn’t look or taste like the type of bread I have had MANY times in the past.

    I WAS a frequent flyer at this establishment, always tipping $20 for the great service. However, when I asked to speak with the manager, Jonathan, he seemed to be out of his body, not really THERE, as I explained to him that giving me a ten-percent discount for an $11.50 burger was a slap in the face, especially to someone who regularly visits BWWs. Jonathan, for some reason, thought I was missing tomatoes, and that was it. I explained to him my burger was missing THREE items and that the bun was cold and different from the other same burgers I have always ordered. Jonathan’s response to me, after I stated my dissatisfaction in a very grounded and non-threatening OR irrational way that I’m very disappointed in his judgment call in giving me only a ten-percent discount? “I’m sorry you feel that way.”

    You’ve just lost a customer.

    The additional bacon I ordered was worth more than the ten-percent discount!

    Since I used to come in regularly, I would often overhear and witness other managers giving a FREE meal to someone for the fries being cold or for taking too long.

    And this is how Jonathan deems my loyalty and always-there patronage? A ten-percent discount that paid almost for the extra bacon I ordered?

    I also ordered a pitcher of beer and nine wings to-go which totaled to around $27. I never, EVER, do this, but I chose to give the bartender/server a $0 tip.

    But I’m guessing, you could really care less, could you? Don’t even want to be bothered by a customer who calls the corporate line directly, only to be hung-up on, not even giving a patron the courtesy of a voice-mailed option.

    Yes, you’ve lost a customer as well as all of my many friends and family’s business as well. And having a degree in communications as well as being a reverend, I will also be telling my neighbors about your foul business practices.

    We have been customers for many years with your Piqua, Ohio location. You have, most times, been the top leader in our entire area of wings and loaded skins. We have been through changes in your management that unfortunately the service and the accuracy of orders has went way downhill but then you seem to get a great team again, the orders are complete and out beat all the competition but recently, you obviously have went through personnel changes in the Piqua location. Our orders are screwed up constantly, hence ordering extra wet and getting dry. We have learned to order extra sauce at our expense and more recently, was told you no longer do loaded skins. In the world of wings, which are many to say the least, your recipe for your wings are one of the top. However, your removal of your skins loaded has reduced you to a new low. Great wings with loaded skins are like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without the peanut butter. You now are falling way behind the competition who still have great wings and “skins loaded” which, as we have said, your recipes for your wings, tend to be a cut above the rest but with your elimination of your loaded skins and your poor service at the Piqua location, puts you way down on the list of the best even though we have been loyal patrons of yours for so many years, love your recipes beyond others but due to your decision to drop loaded skins and the performance level of your Piqua employees “again” has quite simply turned us away and many others we associate with. We would love to see the return of you guys being #1 again.
