I am trying and have bee trying for many days now to get the e-mail address of a a member of Century link Management with No luck. Please supply me with an e-mail address or is Century Link Management afraid to deal with those of us who have a complaint and can not get any thing done through customer service. This is really getting to make me angry as I need to let someone know about my problem. PLease send me an e-mail address.

I don’t even know where to start. For almost thirty years, I’ve put up with rural service which is substandard, working on an old and neglected infrastructure. As the years passed, the actual service has declined and the help over the phone has gotten absolutely impossible. Every year, just as summer starts, I begin having problems, which cost me countless hours on the phone talking to people who have no idea what they are doing. Every time, something beyond that which I am reporting goes wrong and I spend the whole summer trying to get it resolved. I know there is a push to upgrade rural service and there are tax credits available. I doubt you’re overlooking the tax credits, but the “upgrade” to service is not happening. I can rarely get the bare minimum Internet speed I’m paying for and when I ask for help, I spend hours (unpaid) on the phone with people who cannot fix the issue. It all comes down to waiting for a tech to come out and fix the problem in the lines and it’s never easy getting someone out here. There is no online chat on your site even though you say there is. By the time you get to that page – there is NO FIELD into which one may enter a question or comment – it takes you back to FAQs, which are all irrelevant anyway.

Here is how you handle unresolved issues: https://www.centurylink.com/help/contact/escalation.html

There is no number, no e-mail address, no way to follow up – just a dead end letter making a promise you have absolutely no intention of keeping. It’s time for a Federal investigation into what you’re doing with the tax credits you receive to upgrade rural service.

That message could have been written by me. It describes some of my problems exactly. In addition I’m not allowed to sign up for AutoPay. I follow the links to do it online but it always ends up with an error saying it couldn’t be done. So I phone the customer service number, wait on hold for 15 minutes, and then get connected to someone who either promises to mail me a form (which never arrives) or transfers me to another rep who walks me through the online process which ends up with the same old error message. How do I manage to speak with someone who has enough sense to actually help with the problem?

Have had repeated problems. Every few months.. no internet. No phone.. {even when we do have internet the speed is a laughable 1.5 MBps.. they keep you on the phone for support fo r literally hours. They take your cell number as if they will call you back – and NEVER do. Even though they promise up and down that they will. Their local lineman tell you all the same thing “centurylink wont put a dime into new infrastructure in the field”. The best you can do- as i will: complain to your States Board of Public Utillities that regulate the phone company in your state. The company doesnt care other wise .. so very sad. :0(

I work out of my home and have a business phone line. Every time it rains or snows my business phone goes out. Then I have to call CenturyLink repair service, have to wait 1-5 days before it is fixed, and have to deal with it again when it rains. CenturyLink rep says the technician should put in a new line and their techs say that they are not responsible for a new line – that order has to come from CenturyLink. I have no idea how much business I have lost due to the many times the phone has been out. Couldn’t figure out why my bill kept going up and up and after close examination I discovered that I have been getting charged for Directory Assistance – 27 of them in 4 months at $1.99/each. I have NEVER used the Directory Assistance. They agreed to credit me for this last bill of 14 of them but not until after I paid the bill. In order to prevent this from happening they said I have to pay $27.50 plus $5.00/month to block something I’ve never even used! They refuse to believe I haven’t used the directory assistance and said “well, someone is using it!” No they are not! My husband works during the day and would have no reason to use my business line and we have no kids or anyone else that has access to that phone line. I am so fed up with CenturyLink but have no other choices as they are the only phone service in my area.

I was going two sign up for directiv today but the offer I was told about in early December was not available to anymore because I cancelled my prism tv at that time .the rep who made me that offer didn’t explain that if I didn’t book the order the day I cancelled the prism tv I wouldn’t be able to get a $300.00 Visa card .l explained to not 1 but 4 other reps , supervisors and visa gift card reps what had transpired on the day I put in the cancellation order that I would have to find out in a dish was allowed in our development. The rep that I spoke with said she understood and that the offer was available till the end of the month . Never at anytime do I recall her telling me about if I cancelled my prism tv that I would loose getting the Visa card . If I would have been aware I wouldn’t have cancelled the tv and called our association then and an answer .i was lead to believe there would be no problem. Well after 1 hour on the internet and 4 more hours on the phone 3reps and 2 supervisors. The best they could do was apologize for the inconvenience. So rather than give me the $300.00 gift card they rather loose me as a customer . All the reps and supervisors have no ability to help the customer or resolve the problem .i say to the president and CEOs Mr Jeff Storey give your people some room to fix issues and make decisions .let them maker your customers happy.
