    we have bought a new property at 2650 245th st ocean park wa 98640, we have called for new service at least 5 times and they say they need to run new cable and a supervisor will refer it to supervisor and get us some answers.
    it been roughly 6 months now no calls no internet, no communications, I am aware of most of your reviews and can understand why you have a lot of bad reviews, we are a existing customer our current address is 24308 Y Lane 98640, we have internet at our home address some what interminit in the evening i understand more users on line but poor service is not our problem, however what does it take to get help, if you billed on actual usage you would be loosing millions

    In middle of Aug I requested a residence internet transfer. It is now October and I’m still waiting. I keep getting bills for service I DO NOT HAVE. Every time I call customer support no one helps me, everyone gives me the runaround. I am a teacher in Texas and have to do online instruction. I’ve been unable to do my job because others in Centurylink will not come back & install the new internet cable. When someone does come to do it, I don’t believe I should be charged hundreds of dollars for the cable. I’ve experienced so much stress & anger because I’m always getting this type of treatment. I need someone to please help me with this situation. Whoever reads this, please and thank you.

    My internet is very slow so i called customer service.. I talked to three different people about my needs I hope i got somewhere on resolving my problem but I doubt it

    The service folks are in the Phillippines. Imagine trying to talk to someone about a problem you have when they are reading a script and don’t understand the nuances of the American language. But, they work very cheaply, maybe $10 a day. I spent over two hours to get the point across that my internet is very slow and that I am color blind and cant see the lights on the modem. even after I explained my color blindness issue, I was asked to tell her the color of the lights on the modem. A service ticket was allegedly written to get repairs completed

    repairs are to be made shortly, whenever and whatever that is.

    Just so everyone knows, Century Link has purchased the tail end of other telephone companies business that wasn’t profitable to the bigger companies as they were bought out. I was a sprint landline line customer for years and sprint landline service was horrible on a good day. It was never Sprints fault on any problem.

    First and foremost I would like to address I am not very happy with centurylink! We ordered service and received the modem shortly after. However service was unable to start, so they told us there was a technician scheduled to come to our home. Fast fwd to the day no technician showed or was scheduled as what I was told by a customer service rep. I was transferred over and over for a period of 3 hours repeating the same problem again and again and no issue resolved. What a terrible start and next Monday marks 2 weeks. I’m sure I will receive a hefty bill on service I don’t have. It is urgent I started service I have a child and myself in school as well as a business I run from home. Not very happy at all!

    Our service is out. We cannot get a technician to come out. Our entire county is having phone and internet problems. It’s like no one even works for this company any more. We have no other service provider in our area. We cannot get credit for the time we’ve been without internet. Our work orders keep getting cancelled. Customer service tells us there is no outage but most of our county is without phone and internet for atleast 1 month!!

    Have not had decent internet since signing up. Called about it ..they sent another modem…same problem. Called last Monday …they did a check and said it was a lone issue so they gave me the earliest appt. they had 4 a repairman 2 come out which was last Saturday….no show!! I told them when I called that my daughter is being homeschooled through an academy and couldn’t stay connected 2 internet long enough 2 get work completed bc the internet comes and goes. So…called them this morning 2 let them know the repair.an didn’t show up and was on hold over an hour. Dropped phone and lost call so now waiting 4 a call back which can b up 2 2 hrs….very dissatisfied.

    I tried to cancel my account on Thursday 7/30/20 and was on the phone for three hours and got transferred to two different departments before being transferred to Retention which I was promptly disconnected three times. After waiting on hold for Chat for three hours I gave up. I tried on Saturday only to find out you are closed. I tried on Monday and the same thing happened. I took the afternoon off of work on Tuesday 8/3/20 and spent four and a half hours on hold and being transferred over and over and being disconnected every single time I was finally transferred to Retention. I was given three direct number for Retention and they all took me to the general number. I will NEVER GET YOUR SERVICE AGAIN. I am going to post on my Facebook page my instagram and all the website out there about customer service what Hell I went through.

    Dear Jeffrey,
    OMG! After 5 hours yesterday and almost 7 hours today on the phone and chat [at the same time], my modem is finally being shipped. The last offer of a credit was $30. I have lost $480 so far and at least another $60 tomorrow for the 10:30 delivery which is 2 hours into my workday. This is not the first time this has happened.
    Thirty bucks huh? That isn’t even worth the headache I have right now after talking to person after person after person apologizing. Liza, then Joyce, then Rob, then Sergil, Jessica, Boris + – then finally Kavier.
    What kind of place are you running there? Joyce promised I would receive my modem today before 10AM. Then I spoke with 3 other people TODAY before I pointed out that the UPS tracking said they had not even received the package yet to delivery to me today!!!! I was still on the phone with – I don’t know with who, when the UPS tracking finally changed to say it was being shipped!!!
    Then Kavier said I would receive it tomorrow OR Thursday! WHAT???!!! Then you would have owed me $960.00!!!
    I really can’t understand why this is so difficult for your CS to handle instead of making bad promises.
    Last time my REFURBISHED modem went bad, it took 5 days to get this last REFURBISHED modem [even though I asked for a new one] – luckily, I didn’t have to work from home because of COVID 19 last time – now I do not have a choice. I would have though t over the last 3 months you guys may have taken that into consideration and beefed up your operations
    I understand that I, as one customer, probably does not concern you much but I do plan on spreading the word of my last few experiences. I have seen some neighbors on the app “My neighborhood” inquiring about what the best service is in the area. I’ve noticed several of them have mentioned they have CenturyLink and are looking to switch. Looks like a pattern to me.

    6/10/20 Update – Guess what Jeffrey? They sent the wrong modem – Lovely just lovely!

    CL is hardly a customer service oriented communication company — has anyone tried to reach them by phone. Everything is automated and if you have an issue not addressed by the automated system then you are disconnected. If you can somehow bypass the automated system you get connected to personnel in Honduras or Guatamala with a third world country connection where you can only hear every third word.

    I am a disabled 70 year old woman with stage 3 lung cancer and am on oxygen 24/7. I had problems with Centurylinks technicians back in 2016 and until I contacted Glen Post it seems nothing was done.
    Monday I am contacting Jeff Storey because I have a critical care onfile with Centurylink. I have been without a telephone since 4:00 Thursday afternoon…..Centurylink knows I have no way of contacting an ambulance or the fire department as a telephone is needed. Today after calling the normal 20 times from Thursday through today and getting hung up on, disconnected, etc, I am calling the Federal communications commissionm, The Florida Dept of Agriculture & consumer services, the Attorney generals office, and the disabilities foundation. I was told they would not repair until Monday which means I will have been without a telephone for 5 days. This is par for the course for Centurylink because their technicians don’t complete their jobs and when they do the job I guess its done half assed……

Apparently my Jan 2020 bill didn’t go through. so from you perspective my 55.00 payment was not received but from my perspective my 55.00 payment was made. I was charged a late fee of 10.00. Considering all of the current thefts of internet data I had and still have a concern as my payment included my checking account info. I called your company to discuss this issue and was transferred multiple times. The last transfer was to nowhere. Now I have received a late payment of an additional 15.00 (25.00 in total). Needless to say I don’t believe I owe you any late payment fees. It was into YOUR system that I made my payments. I am not responsible for your system. But, you are completely responsible for my personal data that I provide your company. I should be charging your company a penalty for mishandling a transaction that I made in good faith. I’m tired of all the internet failures being a customer failure and the customer being penalized.

    I called yesterday in regards to our bill with Century Link as we had an addition charge on our bill. This included HBO, SHOWTIME, & CINEMAX. at no time did we order this however it was put on to our bill. We called yesterday to your billing department. They kept hanging up on us rerouting us to some one else, one agent said that HBO, SHOWTIME & CINEMAX was a trial to see if we liked it. I stated at no time did I give authorization for this to even happen. To top things off one of your Representative’s gave us the number to AT&T not telling us who we where calling once we started talking to them they where very helpful with our situation and how sorry they where that they gave us to another company but that they would like us for a customer. AT&T gave us your number to call direct so we did again. We went through our story again and got no where, that is when we asked for a supervisor. Needless to say we are still waiting now day 2, for your supervisor to call. I have a few things to ask you. #1) Do your people know who they work for Century Link or AT&T ? #2) Do they truly know how to take care of a charge that was not authorized? #3) Do you have supervisors that care about your biasness at all or do you even have one. #4) How many other customers have the same issue with being charged for somethin that they did not authorize nor do they even get it as we checked ? As I stated I was confused as to why our bill was higher and I saw this on the back of the bill. I am going to look through all my past bills from your company as now I do not trust your company at all. I gave many people your company’s information as I had nothing but good to say but guess what I texted them all in a group chat and they too are checking their bills so far I’m not the only one so I’m sure you will get another e-mail like this one.
