    I was also told that I was signed up for paperless billing and that was my only option. I’ve tried to explain the representative I do not want paperless billing however, she explained I was already signed up for this and there is no way of changing it.

    I called to have service installed. The technician comes to my home and tells me he can not install my service because he does not have the right equipment. (Faceplate). I need to reschedule for the next day. I called the dispatch and they could not help me. They transferred me to customer service. I can not take another day off work. This is not how you treat a potential customer.

    I just recently became a Directv customer. We had called to upgrade to the next level of service so that my husband could have his sports channels. First of all a service that we had not asked for had been added to our account , the young lady Ina was accommodating and did remove it from our account. The problem came when I was checking for all the listed channels that we were added and if they were working. I found that their Directv Sportsmix channel was not. I was told that this channel was only available on the next level package. I found that channel as listed under my package in two different publishing areas, one was the pamphlet left by the tech that did our installation and the other was on their website. After an hour and fifty minutes on the phone with them all they could tell me was they were sorry but it was not included but I could purchase the higher package. This is false advertising and they should honor what is showing in the written and internet listing of the channels being offered.

    on 4/28/202 I called Direct TV to find out if We could get a better deal than what we had with DishNetwork. and I really regret it that we changed to DirectTV. that day I explained to the lady that we needed it Spanish channels because of my mother in law and that we wanted at least Fox News, USA, TNT and local channnels because we had that already and we were paying $100.00 after taxes. she stated that all those channels were included, and we were able to watch FNC until yesterday. we call customer service and the lady stated that a Fox News was not included. Oh and we didn’t have a contract. now we are stuck with this crap for two years. one thing is for sure. NEVER again DiretcTV.

    I’m just letting you know that at&t is dragging direct tv down I won’t ever speak to another att person ever I made a promise to pay for may 15th well it’s not the 15th yet and I talked to a supervisor that was rude and very disrespectful to me by the time I got off the phone I was in tears and feeling like killing myself I don’t care who you are you have no reason to speak to anyone that way I paid them 600 dollars on direct tv bill alone I sent it through the mail they are saying they never got it I paid 700 to them for my cell bill they said they never gotten either so where is my money going are they giving there home addresses however I have turned it in to fair shake I don’t even want to walk into a att store because of this issue when I set these payments up I assume that I can trust them to do so cause they said I was ok that I wouldn’t get shut off yet I did the issue either gets resolved or I’m taking my business somewhere else I’m tired of being ripped off

    I have exhausted myself trying to locate risk management for Direct TV to no avail! The Mobilehome I purchased has a Direct TV dish on the roof which has caused a large leak in my master bedroom! Since I have never had Direct TV I was not aware their Dish was there until the roofer found where the leak was!

      They still haven’t changed it. I just recently noticed noticed a pic of TK Kirkland for TK Carter when looking at cast and crew of “The Thing”. I googled it and found your post from April of this year. And it’s December now. Ridiculous.

    Hi I am trying to get in touch with someone other than customer support. I cancelled my Directv service yesterday and they are telling me that I have to keep my service until April 1 which would put me paying another month of $190 something . I am cancelling due to the Coronavirus outbreak here in my state and not sure how much longer my husband and I will be working. My account # is 2622572594. In today’s conversation I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told twice there were no supervisors on the floor. I would like this expedited ASAP to ensure funds for necessary and essential bills at this time.     We signed up with Direct TV on 3-29-18. We believed we were coming to the end of our contract at the end of this month. . I called one of your representatives to cancel. They informed me that our contract has been extended to June 11, 2021. We had no idea that our contract had been extended. They informed us it was due to our equipment being upgraded in June of last year. Here is where the rub comes; we had no idea that our contract was being extended another year. We were not informed by the gentleman who brought the new equipment and we signed nothing to our knowledge that this was the case. We would appreciate being able to cancel our contract here at the end of March. Our situation presently would be made better. The other alternative we could live with, if the price was reduced to what we were paying the first year of the contract. Thank you for listening. I will await your reply

    I received a bill from direct TV on 12/30/2019 for $361.00 due immediately after services were installed on 12/14/2019. When requesting the service, I was advised there were no additional charges for the receivers or any instillation. However, after calling in to the company I was made aware the sales person taking the order and the technician who came out documented such charges without informing me.

    The only fee of $99.00 ever being explained was at the time of service when the technician asked if I needed more than 6 receivers, at this time me stated it would be an additional $99.00 if I went over 6 receivers. At that time, I declined. Nevertheless, I have been charged $499.00 for a gene/additional boxes/installation charges which I did not agree too or made aware of prior to installation; In addition, a $99.00 charge for additional receivers which were supposed to be included on the monthly price. I was billed in advance for service which have not yet been used or properly explained which was also not explained.

    It was also explained the HBO/STARS/SHOWTIME were included in my package for 3yrs or until I make any changes to services. I am not sure this is true as the installation thus far, has been incorrect. The representative has made me aware there are charges for each receiver and not sure why I was not advised. I have been holding for 35 minutes/indefinitely waiting for a supervisor with no help. I have not yet received a bill and as of 12/30/2019 the date the bill was generated incorrectly I have been given a due date of 01/03/2019 or the services would be disconnected and reported to my credit.

    I was also told that I was signed up for paperless billing and that was my only option. I’ve tried to explain the representative I do not want paperless billing however, she explained I was already signed up for this and there is no way of changing it.

    Again, I was signed up for services which I did not request/made aware there were additional charges with no resolution.

    This is unfair at no time was made aware of a $499.
