I have had 3/4 of my orders be prepared incorrectly as well as missing items and poor quality. Customer service was unhelpful, unprofessional, and uneducated. My most recent order was a total nightmare to say the least. I purchased $100 worth of food from KFC for dinner. I had family visiting from out of town. I had hoped to provide them with a great dinner but failed to do so due to DoorDash and their criminal employees. I had $80 out of a $100 Order stolen by the delivery driver. DoorDash refused to compensate due to the fact they had to compensate me for past orders that were major screw ups. This is an issue to be addressed between DoorDash and it’s employees. You can’t hold a customer responsible for requesting compensation numerous times when its the negligence of DoorDash.

I was signed up as a Dasher. I worked for 1 entire week. I had a personal goal to see if I could make $500 in one week. I absolutely met that goal. On Sunday, just as I received an order, I got a call that said it was from DoorDash saying it was mistakenly placed and needed cancelled ASAP. Being new to this, it seemed legit. They had the customers name & order info. I was told I needed to log in to dasher.agency.com so he could clear it from my dashboard. Ok. While he was waiting for the verification he told me there was a promo going on that weekend for people who did so many deliveries, they’d be entered to win $250. I was also told I’d be refunded $14.99 for the inconvenience of time & fuel for the cancelled order. Again, as a new person I was amazed at the service and thought…they REALLY take care of their drivers! Anyhow, the agent I spoke with said if I qualified, he would call me that evening to notify me. He did. He said he was sending me a verification code to authenticate I was who I said I was. I told him the code and we ended the call after he told me the winnings would be sent out via prepaid VISA on Tuesday. That was the first thing that actually sounded odd, why not put it in my account. A bit later, just before midnight, I got an email notification that my bank info had changed to a GreenDot bank account. NOT my bank. I immediately called and spent a ridiculous amount of time explaining and re-explaining what happened. I was told not to worry, there is a 7 day verification period for bank accounts (which it actually said online) so the money wouldn’t be able to transfer eight away. I was also told to leave the bank info as is so the Fraud team could see it and investigate what happened. I was told all would be resolved and I’d hear from someone within 24 hrs. That’s where it all fell apart. I called & sent emails every single day for a week. Toward the end of that week I was told that, OF COURSE I need to change my bank info back to my own bank if I expected payment. So I did. By the next Monday I got several responses saying it was my fault. I gave my login info to someone and the money had already been moved and was unable to be retrieved. I’m welcome to continue dashing, just be aware of not giving my info to anyone. Are you kidding me?!? So…I refuse to do anymore and I tell everyone I know what a scam it is to be a Dasher. I’ve heard several similar stories. They made over $300M…you’d think they’d have better cyber security. I spoke with an attorney who told me this company doesn’t care about having a bad reputation, they have thousands more willing to do the work or use the service. The only thing these people respond to is bad media. That means putting myself out there too. I refuse to play that game. Shame on companies like this taking advantage of people who are clearly just trying to make a living. Of course DD and the restaurant got their money. That’s what matters, right?!

THE PROBLEM WITH DOOR DASH IS GREED. THEY GO TO A FOREIGN COUNTRY TO HIRE EMPLOYEES THAT
SPEAK AN INFERIOR ENGLISH AND UNDERSTAND LESS. I FOUND THAT THESE EMPLOYEES DO NOT KNOW THEIR JOBS. SHOULDN’T THEY KNOW ABOUT ALL PROMOTIONS THAT ARE BEING OFFERED TO THE UNITED STATES CUSTOMERS??? WELL THEY DON’T. THEY WILL ARGUE WITH ME THE CUSTOMER THAT SUCH A PROMOTION DOESN’T EXIST.
JUST THIS SATURDAY OCTOBER 10TH 2020 I RECEIVED BAD VEGGIE LASAGNA FROM THE RESTAURANT
FUSILLI ON LONG ISLAND. I CALLED THE RESTAURANT AND THE OWNER WAS WILLING TO SEND ME ANOTHER ORDER TO COMPENSATE FOR THE BAD FOOD. GUESS WHAT GERMAINE THE AGENT I SPOKE TO REFUSED TO SEND ANOTHER DASHER TO PICK UP THE FOOD.
WHY YOU ASK? HE SAID IT WAS DUE TO CREDITS I HAD RECEIVED FROM DELIVERY FEES THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED BECAUSE I AM A NEW CUSTOMER AND I HAD A 30 DAY PROMOTION. EXPLAIN THAT ONE. NOT AMERICAN THINKING IN ANY WAY. I’VE SPENT OVER $550 SINCE O9/16/20
DOOR DASH OWES ME $13.95 . LET’S SEE IF THE CORPORATE OFFICE DOES,THE RIGHT THING
REPUTATION IS ALL YOU HAVE .

I placed an order for delivery through Door Dash, costing over $60 and received something completely different. Nothing I ordered was delivered to my address. Instead, I got someone else’s order that promptly went into the trash. Upon contacting the customer service department with Door Dash, I was told I would be unable to receive a refund because I had previously been refunded for another mistake made by Door Dash. Seems Door Dash should be finding out why these mistakes happen with such frequency and doing something to address the issue rather than penalizing customers.

    Attention: John Donovan

    I have a complaint. Ref # 121554883
Door dash did not deliver my Birthday Dinner from my Daughter.
I called 855-973-1040 to notify Door Dash that the order was not delivered and got the run around.
My Daughter was sent an email filled with lies.

If my Daughter is not refunder her charge of $41.77, I will file a complaint with the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and the 3 local TV stations.

    Sincerely,

    Keith Jenkins
