Hello, My name is Aja McDowell. I am a customer of yours. My concern is that my air unit is broke and has still not been fixed. It has been two months and no one has come to fix it. I have small children and trouble breathing. The temperature in the house reached 91 this week. Should I take my services to a more qualified company that will be able to stand by their contract? Please help me, It is not right to treat your customers this way. It is bad for business.

I have been with First American Home Warranty Corp. for many years as a loyal customer. I have paid my bill faithfully and have never been late. Recently I had a plumbing problem and requested a plumber come to my home. A plumber came out Feb.14th and had to return because of a water break with the city in my area, and of course customers lost service for a short time. The original plumber returned on a Sunday which was nice, because it was his off day. The problem returned within a week, it was a leak in the bathroom which leaked onto my kitchen ceiling. I called First American back Feb 25th. The following day the contractor called us and said they would call the following week to set up an appointment.
March 4th the contractor called made an appointment and never showed. Again I called First American and the Customer Service Rep gave the contractor a call. The Customer Service Rep explained to me the contractor said they never called and would give us a call in a few days to make an appointment. It has been twenty days since I have made the original call.
I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and the customer service rep refused.
What bothers me the most, First American rely solely on the word of the contractor in all matters. I had my dishwasher replaced and it took three months until they finally sent a different technical out, and yes, they finally replaced the dishwasher. I really wanted to stay with the company because I have so much time and money invested, and I did not want to start over with a new company. I tried to explain the importance of Customer Service, but it was like, I was speaking a language they did not understand.
At this point I don’t trust the current contractor and First American refused to send a different contractor out. They explained that the same contractor have to follow up on a job they started. I never saw that in writing.
Your ad’s are beautiful, but at this point I believe it is sheep in wolfs clothing. I’m sorry after this job; I will defiantly look for a new Home Warranty Company.
    Thank You
    Phyllis Pruitt
