It is sad that you voted against a wall protecting those of us in Arizona. You should spend a bit of time seeing what they have done to our desert, the garbage they have strewn across it and destruction of our beautiful land. it is not safe to even travel to places to visit due to the influx of these people who go against out laws and then we have to pay for them. You truly are a disgrace to the office you were voted into.

Mr. Mitt Romney. I am so disappointed with your actions of joining the subversive democrats in voting against this president. I have be a republican precinct chair and active in political affairs and I find that your action of NOT CONSULTING OR ACTING UPON the wishes of your constituents is not why we elected you. Please get your act together and quit being a traitor of trust of those who elected. You are now in Michigan now, you are in Utah where your word means truth and no double answers are accepted. Your job as our representative is to protect the constitution and our support your DULY elected president Donald Trump. If you fail to do either, I will use everything in my power to campaign against your reelection or attack your right of serving for the Utah citizens. Clean up your act or we clean out your office.

    Nokia

As a Nokia retiree with more than 34 years of dedicated service, I am writing to support my CWA Brothers and Sisters who gave the better part of their lives, talents, dedication and yes, even in some cases, health to make Nokia and CWA Installers the “best of the best” in the global telecommunications industry. CWA has more than 100 years of tradition, knowledge and expertise in the industry, but, now, it appears that in the name of profit, Nokia is considering risking damage to the tradition and reputation of a company that has long partnered with Unions and the best of American workers by exposing it to the instability of subcontract labor. If the decision is made to abandon its loyalty and commitment to its long-term employees and retirees, the company is facing not only the possibility of unskilled laborers but the loss of a vast knowledge base of an adaptable workforce it has enjoyed with CWA employees. There is also the issue of customer security and in some cases, national security, previously protected and maintained by CWA member employees.

CWA Installers have traveled from state to state, ocean to ocean and met every challenge in the industry including national emergencies such as the World Trade Center aftermath of 9/11, where our Installers brought life back to New York City communications. We adapted to changing technologies, accepting and exceeding market demands, while always supporting Nokia. My experience with subcontractors in today’s workforce is they are NOT company dedicated; they are hired as needed in “Temp” positions with no loyalty on either side of the equation. Of course, there are some exceptions but they are few and far between and there is no guarantee that Nokia is receiving the highest or best qualified workers. Your records will confirm many situations where subcontractors have been utilized and CWA Installers were asked to return to clean up their mess, complete jobs and meet quality standards after the subs left.

Many long-term, loyal, hardworking Nokia employees made financial and retirement decisions based on the pension and medical benefits promised. These retirees, myself included, now appeal to your compassion. Since the accrued retirement fund is sufficient to pay the cost and maintenance of these benefits for many years into the future, it is essential that the Nokia/CWA partnership continue or many lives will be jeopardized due to not having the income and benefits previously promised. I say this with deep concern, that thousands of lives will be adversely affected by the decision to subcontract work that has traditionally been completed by CWA member employees

Last month my wife was diagnosed with metastatic cancer. We are in the beginning of treatment with so much uncertainty of the final outcome. Shortly after she was diagnosed, I too was diagnosed with low risk prostate cancer that will eventually need medical treatment. I tell you this not for sympathy but with the hope you will understand the real concern your benefactors have regarding the choice Nokia is considering with CWA and subcontracting. Of course, you have a business to run and a responsibility to Nokia shareholders but I am appealing to you to remember the promises Nokia and its predecessors made to its employees and retirees, many of whom continued employment due to the retirement benefits promised.

I hope you will make the right decision, not only for Nokia, but for all of us, who have gone before and contributed to Nokia’s success. Please don’t allow corporate greed to be the deciding factor.

    Dear Mitt Romney,
I fully support your recent op-ed aimed at the criminal who occupies the white housed. The full extent of his crimes may never be fully revealed but we are beginning to see the tip of the iceberg. Utah was never a Trump stronghold and when he goes down his supporters will go with him. Again I congratulate you for taking a stand for governmental decency.

He wants this shut down confusion in our country, this is what Putin wants. We all want border security. But a wall as in recently, they found 7 tunnels they were digging under them, border, agents want more, border agents and technology, and that is a form of a wall, explain that to trump . It’s legal to force people our homeland security,to work for free, what is it going to take air traffic controllers work 10hr days six days a weeks. Our national security is at stake here. What do you call a entity, that comes in shuts down or takes over the government. Dear Mr. Mutt Romney
You did a wonderful job of deceiving the people of Utah, your constituents and all the Republicans who put you in office and it only took you a few days to show everyone your true agenda of being divisive to your President. You are ready to join the SWAMP . The Dems will welcome you with open arms Mr. Mutt the trader. Your getting off to a good start, just think you will be remember like another ambition trader, his name was Benedick Arnold, remember him and what he did to George Washington at West Point, fleeing to the British for personal enrichment !!!! If one of your company V.P. or upper mangers spoke about you and your company the way you disrespected the President you would have fire him on the spot, for the disrespect he showed to you. The President who did nothing to you, but extend you a hand and support and you stabbed him in the back. You are nothing more than another LIEING, CHEATING NEW SWAMPER GOING TO WASHINGTON to enrich yourself. You don’t have an ounce of courage the President has or his skills, which you demonstrated in your lose to an unqualified previous president. To the people of Utah , have a recall on this Rhino.

I to campaigned for Mitt in the past but never again! I am sure that if the election was next week he would not stand a chance of winning. It just goes to show how far out of touch he is with the people who have supported him in the past and what is good for America. Our founding fathers spoke of the pro’s and con’s of immigration when they founded this country. They cautioned about too many from a single region at one time. 14m, or more, illegals in this country today. That’s a number higher than the individual total state population of 45 of our 50 states. I can name 5-6 states that is more people than if you put their populations together! It cost us $131B a year to care for them in benefits and medical expenses. Libs say a wall will not work. The Chinese built a 4000 mile wall that worked and they say we can’t build one better now. No, Mitt is now known as a deep state Lib. Mitt you should resign and let someone who loves our country and respects our way of life take over from you!

    Dear Mitt:
I initially voted for your father in his Michigan governor run in 1962, admired him for his character, and am disappointed in the lack of such from his son. Glad you asked for President Trump’s support and then backstabbed him–no character–I thought that was something Mormons stressed.
Donald truly represents the common people–ie those who didn’t go to Cranbrook Prep or throw out of work via bottom line profits for Bain Capital. Donald is more than willing to take on the Washington establishment and leftist untruthful media–not wimp out as you did with Candy Cowley vs. Obama in your FAILED run for president. His job creation numbers are truly exceptional. America is also respected again in the world
Perhaps you could do something for the American people like support to the WALL, energy independence and also open criminal investigations against Bill and Hillary, Clinton Foundation, Brennan, Comey, Struck, Paige, Rosenstein and Mueller.
I respect anyone who works and the GOP is now poised to be the voice of all working peoples. Try to relate to the people of Detroit and Pontiac and not only those of Bloomfield Hills and this can happen. Please step of for America as Donald Trump does every minute.

Mitt Romney, How do you dig yourself out of the deep hole you are already in? I was a hard-core Bernie Sanders Socialist until Hillary Clinton and Company destroyed him in the summer of 2016. I had a choice between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. I knew the past and present Hillary Clinton too well and am glad I voted for President Trump. Under enormous, never-ending and ridiculous two-year opposition, Trump is a man of true conviction to the right ideas and beliefs- a much more good and decent person than the Left ever gives him credit for. Mr. Romney, you can learn much from the good President you wrongly trashed one of your first days in office. Wake up right now and redeem what is left of your reputation by acting like a genuine human being with some decency and true and good convictions.

Is Mitt Romney impressed with Rashida Tlaib?

My-oh-my, Mr. Decency suddenly has nothing to say. Which is rather bizarre, because it was just a few days ago when Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) stridently assured us, “I will speak out against significant statements or actions that are divisive, racist, sexist, anti-immigrant, dishonest or destructive to democratic institutions.”

And yet here we are, a full day after Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) publicly called the president of the United States a “motherfucker,” and Moral Mitt has remained silent.

What happened to your ‘morals’ and ‘principles’, Mittens? They don’t matter any more?

I can’t begin to explain how disappointed I am in the comments of Mitt Romney. I contributed to his campaign and voted for him because he assured us that he would be a voice for Utah in the senate. His comments, however, show that Utah and the nation are not his primary concerns. He spoke for Mitt and not for the Utah voters. We simply don’t need a Utah version of Jeff Flake representing us in Washington. The scriptures say that contention is to work of the adversary and I find his inappropriate oped to be very contentious. He has given more fodder to the likes of Chucky Shummer, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Elizabeth Warren and a host of other far-leftwing liberals—not to mention the likes of Rosey O’Donnel and Michael Moore. He blamed the division in the country on President Trump. I wonder if he hasn’t been listening to the constant divisive rhetoric of the left since before President Trump even took office. It is a sad day when our elected officials represent only themselves and not their constituents as promised. I hope that his latest pronouncements don’t portend how he will represent me in the future.

    Dear Mr. Romney,

I am a Republican. I’m a member of the Church. I’ve served in the auxiliaries in leadership positions, and I’ve lived in Utah for at least 35 years. You’ve convinced me. Your recent statements against Trump’s character tell me you are a holier-than-thou individual who never should have been elected to represent Utah.

Sorry, I had to put that so bluntly. But your position tells me you are very, very establishment, meaning you are a man in line with those who have globalist ambitions and want to take down America. America has been deliberately secularized with God taken out of the schools, out of public policies, out of lives. In other words, secularization and removal of God from lives has been enthroned.

I can hear you arguing. But you are a member of the Church! A man of God. A believer! You pray for America! Well, you don’t believe in the same God as the scriptures declare!! How can I say that? For one thing, you are stuck and you are judgmental! Here’s one example:

God Himself in the Old Testament declared He had called and anointed Cyrus. (Isa 45:1) Cyrus? A man known for his “evils” and his “wicked ways”? At the time, Cyrus was being used by God to promote Israel, to renew it and to restore it! If you had lived then, you would have declared Cyrus had committed too much evil to be called and condoned by God! His concubines, his treatment of women, his idol worship were too much to overlook!! Yet God called him his “anointed” and one who had done a great work for God and the people. (Ezra 1:1-4)

Maybe you will learn at some time that God can and does use people such as Trump to further His work and His glory. Trump has courage and is endowed with a strong patriotism. You acknowledged some of his accomplishments. What you seem to overlook or perhaps not even know is that our nation was so far down the road to abandoning freedom and our Constitution and our covenant as a nation with God, that it took a man like Donald Trump who is no-nonsense and so courageous he was willing to not play games with the establishment as so many Republicans have done, but to take a patriotic stand for the nation which was established under God. May you awaken and assume the role to which you have been called. Helene

Please know how much this life-long, active Republican appreciates your having the guts to say publically what so many other Republican politicians are whispering privately, that this asinine, narcissistic, amoral buffoon in the White House has not only destroyed much of what our once-proud party stood for, but also much of what our country built up over the years. I also find it deplorable that the RNC Chair denounced you for doing so instead of defending you. The “base” that she and Trump are pandering to is not strong enough to win elections – surely that must be apparent after the recent one and it certainly represents only the basest instincts of Americans. Please continue to speak for the rest of the Republicans.

First of all it said to the world that you are a back stabbing coward. You are not a team player in any sense of the word. If you had something personal to say to President Trump then request a private meeting and tell him to his face. Don’t do it in the childish grade school way you did. What little respect I had left for you is now totally gone. Personally I wish you would switch parties as you appear to be worthless as a Republican. To my knowledge President Trump has not lost one supporter and in fact has gained supporters. I’d like to see you and the other flake, Jeff Flake, run against Donald Trump in 2020 so we could all watch you get beat so badly that maybe it would finally shut you two total flakes up for good. Hopefully, the good people of Utah will not vote for you again in 6 years. You are an embarrassment to the people of Utah.

I think he has tried to do a great job, and in my opinion has succeeded. I like that he speaks his mind without a regard for a political vein. What are Presidents supposed to do? Be a nice person and tread water for 4 or 8 years? Somehow I think he is actually honest and is trying to do the best for our country and needs the support of his party. Mitt Romney,

Knock off the back biting and the back stabbing of President Trump. We did not vote for you to get into office and on the first day to bad mouth President Trump. If all you are doing is trying to set yourself up to run for President in 2020, we don’t need a hypocrite like you that is going to do nothing but go against President Trumps every decision. You ran in Utah, yet you don’t support the people who elected you and President Trump to office.

What seems to be your problem, if you didn’t want to run and support president Trump why dd you waste everyone’s time in voting for you? You are just a narcissist, self involved. I can see by the numerous negative replies that you again opened up your big mouth. Why don’t you just try doing the job you was elected to do, not be a thorn in the side of President Trump, or better get out of politics all together.. Is that what you call being religious, and true to your religion and country.

You betray all that is right when it comes to supporting your President. You should watch how President Trump does things. You might learn how to be a good Republican instead of the RINO you really are.

I’m sure you got votes BECAUSE of this President and because of how hideous the democrats are. I wonder how much great work President Trump could do with the Republican party behind him – helping him – talking to him.

You need to take a hard long look at what you really want out of your new position. You keep going the way you are and it will back fire and many of us will not vote or support you ever again. We are tired of your self-righteous attitude, and your disdain for President Trump, which by the way has done a great job in the 2 years as President, so why don’t you just back off and give him some slack.

We need a wall – Walls work despite the lies the hypocritical democrats are putting out there – Just ask Israel. Again. Shame on you. People of Utah should and will embarrassed to have him rep them.

Senator Romney, I am disappointed with your comments on President Trump on your first day. It seems like you will make a 2020 Presidential run. I voted for you in your Presidential run. I promise that I will sit out the election if you run n 2020.
I sincerely hope you focus on a sound border stratergy and the safety of our country and maintain the current thinking of getting people back to work by supporting an infrastructure stratergy that improves our roads and bridges.
We do not need another political noise maker in Washington.

This is why the Republican Party is NEVER going to make it. The Democrats are going to take over and continue to RUIN this country. Nice work Mitt – look out for yourself, put yourself first, ME ME ME – that’s it – to hell with America. I’m sure you got votes BECAUSE of this President and because of how hideous the democrats are. I wonder how much great work President Trump could do with the Republican party behind him – helping him – talking to him. Take a page from Lindsey Graham. You have shown what a petty, low, loser you are. Shame on you. PS – We need a wall – Walls work despite the lies the hypocritical democrats are putting out there – Just ask Israel. Again. Shame on you.

Can’t believe how small you are. Go after the on;y president who actually keeps his promises. You seem to only want to show a large ego which doesn’t help the president do what he got elected to do but , actually makes you look on a sore loser. Why not change parties and be all you want to be? Shame!

I worked for you when you ran for President. You were a loser then and you are still a loser. Only now you are also a rat. You betray all that is right when it comes to supporting your President. You should watch how President Trump does things. You might learn how to be a good Republican instead of the RINO you really are. I thought we were rid of the McCann Rino’s, but now we have another one in you. At least try to be a decent human being. I know that will be hard for you.

I totally agree with the Steigman post. Just that fast, he is trying to undo Trump with his asinine comments. I cannot believe I voted for this dork…..TWICE !!!! And donated money to his campaigns. Willard is just an abysmal loser. Looks like a McCain/Flake clone. I now despise this little man.

DO NOT APPROPRIATE ANY MORE MONEY FOR THE WALL. There are many, many, many things more important than the wall. Send a veto proof bill for signature that does not include wall funding.

Do tell what could possibly be more important than the border security ? We have MILLIONS of invaders here who cannot hold a conversation in English. They are costing us untold billions in so many ways.

WOW!!! Another America hating Demorat. I wonder if you’ll feel the same way if one of your family members gets severely injured or even worse, killed by an MS13 gang member. Or that someone in your family or a friend gets hooked on drugs that came across an UNprotected border with Mexico. Maybe do us all a favor and move south of the border where you would be happy! Good riddance!

I voted for Romney in his last run for president. However, since then I lost all respect and would never vote for him again since he said that in some cases “Innocent until proven guilty” does not apply. Shame on Romney!! What a disgusting statement!!!!
