the traditions of the militaries of most nations, the rank varies between the services, being a senior rank in the naval services and a junior rank in the ground and air forces. Many fire departments and police departments in the United States also use the rank of captain as an officer in a specific unit.

I purchased a certified used 2015 Ford Escape Titanium on October 26, 2022 with a 90 warranty from Nissan Dealer at 401 Route 1 South in Edison, NJ 08817.

Within 2 weeks the check engine light came on. I called my salesman Jude Pierre and he told me to bring it in for service as soon as possible. The earliest appointment I could get was November 21. In the meantime I took the car to Autozone for a diagnostic test. The test revealed a code P1450.

I submitted the Autozone report to the Service Manager, Joe Ciprello on November 21. After reviewing the car he stated that there was a Ford recall on the vehicle for the transmission shifter cable and advised me to take the car to Ford for the recall and repair.

I contacted Ford dealerships closest to my home and whoever had the first available service appointment which was December 7, 2022. The Ford dealer replaced the recalled part at no cost, fixed the check engine light and charged me $709.68.

Since the car is still under warranty I sent emails and texts to my salesperson, Jude, several times and requested a refund for the check engine repair. After 20 days with no response I went directly to the Nissan dealer and talked to the Sales Manager and the Service Manager, Joe Ciprello. They told me they would not honor the warranty because I took the car to Ford to be repaired.

I am very upset. I feel they should honor the warrantee because they told me to take the car to Ford in the first place. If they were suggesting I take the car to Ford for the recall only, why didn’t they fix the check engine light issue on November 21st when the car was in their possesion for repair?

I feel I have been treated unfairly and they should reimburse me for the repair. I would appreciate if you can help me get my refund of $709.68

have done a recall on the transmissions because YOU ALL KNEW on this problem, but the consumer didn’t know. I later found that this has a problem since 2013. I can only speak for myself. I would be a satisfied customer if I got all of my money back for this transmission or half. As of right now he says he will NEVER PURCHASE another vehicle from the Nissan company. I have been a loyal customer since 2005. Looking forward to still doing business with Nissan, if possible.

My husband just bought a 2020 nissan altima but the floor mats and one car key was not supplied. The car was a rental owned by the dealership, Pedder Nissan in Hemet, CA. It was a slightly used car with only 8000 miles, never purchased by a customer. He is just trying to get the car key and floor mats. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Thressia Brown, between my husband and myself we have purchased 4 Nissan vehicles. The first was a 2006 Altima, 2 vehicles for our daughter, which the transmission had to be replaced 5 months ago, and the 2013 Nissan Rouge for me. I traded the 2006 Nissan in for another vehicle in 2021. We just left the Baytown Dealership in Baytown Texas. We had to replace the transmission in the 2013 Rogue with the price of $3,784.69. When I looked on line I read that Nissan has been having trouble with the transmission. I am disappointed that I/we were never informed about the transmissions problems. I just lost my mother in death, a brother in death and a sister in death from Covid 19. And I didn’t have that kind of money for the transmission. I feel that YOUR COMPANY should have informed us /or have done a recall on the transmissions because YOU ALL KNEW on this problem, but the consumer didn’t know.

    Respectfully,
    Thressia Brown
