I WAS SUPPOSE TO BE ON PAY ONE DOLLAR PER PURCHASE SINCE I NEVER USE THE CARD ACCEPT ON EMERGENCIES. IVE BEEN A CUSTOMER SINCE 2008 AND THEY TREATED ME WITH SUCH DISRESPECT.     PISSED!!! I’ve been with rush card since 2007, money was taken off my card back in Jan/19. A replacement card after being charged $5 was suppose to be sent, by Feb 1st no card called these stupid people back and now Im being told another $5 will be taken for another REPLACEMENT card to sent as of today still NO CARD!!! Im so over rushcard.. Russell and his team are scams They are holding money that Im not able to get due to all these supposely Replacement cards being sent… Im very disappointed and would like for someone to look into this matter..     I’ve been with rushcard for 10 years every time my card gets ready to expire in December I usually receive my card for some odd reason this year I did not receive my updated card and was told I could use my card. Will December 31 came and I tried to purchase my kids some pizza to bring in New Years and the card said declined due to my card being expired. So I said that can’t be true so then I go to the atm to swipe my card and the atm reads declined expired card. So I proceeded to contact rush card to find out where is my card. I was connected with a disrespectful customer service rep who informed me that my card was sent out December 3 2018 and that I should check my mail box. I then replied today is December 31 you telling me it takes 30 days to receive an updated card. He said no it takes 7-10 business days so I replied so where is my card? He replied check my mail box smh I found that to be rude. Then I was told because they have to send a replacement card I would be charged a $5.00 fee which I think is unfair due to the fact that I’m suppose to automatically get a new Card when my card expires. So I contacted rush again today and asked them where is my card because I need to feed my kids. And why am I paying for a card I never received I’m not understanding. Then the supervisor Tony told me he tells me I can pay for expedited shipping for 35 dollars I’m done with Rush I need a lawyer

      Yeah this company is all fucked up! I haven’t even been here a full year yet & I wont! This company is just like Netspend, but they a lil better, I’m waiting on my replacement card too, it’s already been over a week now & they talking about Thirsday, its Saturday and I’m not waiting they going to have to FedEx me some of my dam money! I see right now, I’m going to have to get a Lawyer…. We all can get a civil suit going, the same shit was going on with Netspend, they took all my money & had the nerve to cancel my membership after they fucked up, so from there, I came here, but no… I’m not going to sit back and let them tell me all the bullshit, where the fuck is my money! Over 100 ppl got together and sued Netspend and got paid, but I couldnt join in cuz by the time they started with me, them ppl was all ready done, they was waiting on they big money from the lawsuit, so I’m thinking about calling an Atty to get legal advice, cuz they wrong, have us waiting to get access to our money & it’s taking way to long and they dont give a fuck!
      They business is in the USA, but they dont want to pay ppl here to work for they company, cuz they know they have to pay what that State pay is, so they go outside the USA and hire ppl on islands paying them penny, nickels & dimes! Ain’t no other person from the co on them islands, to speak to a mgr, the customer service rep have to send a email to let them know someone/ client wants to speak to them…. that’s a dam shame! Soon as my card get here, I’m stopping my direct deposit ASAP! I’m not going through all this shit again, but I’m still going to look into suing they asses!

    it’s really sad because I been with rush card for years and never had any problems using my card until I just tried to load my card and for some odd reason now my card has been blocked and when I called to see why they couldn’t give me an answer saying it’s thru their corperate office so when I get on the internet to look up cooperate guess what I get the same number I had just call saying that is the cooperate number

    Hey Mr. Simmons. I know you may not read this, but I have been with rush card since February of 2017, Give or take a few months. I have had direct deposits for over a year now and I have been holding this in since the start of my membership. The customer service is horrible. My card got stolen a few months ago and there was an authorized transaction that the merchant refunded back the same day but it took over 10 days for me to receive my funds. Last week on August the 7th, I was wrongly charged by a merchant and they refunded me my money the same day. I called in 3 days later and a customer service rep told me that it takes 3-5 business days. I called on Wednesday, August 16 and was told that it now takes 10 calendar days. When discussing this with the rep and explaining how tired I was of rush card and the constant lies. I ask her to speak with a supervisor and she was very rude and placed the call on hold and then disconnected the call. I plan on using all my Resources and social media to get this issue resolved.

    My college refund of $461 was sent to Rush card and they was supposed to send me a cashier’s check but instead sent me a Bill Payment Draft so I took it to my bank to have it deposited and it did successfully get deposited and I never touched the $461. The next day my bank Wells Fargo called me to come up to the main branch and I did and that’s when they informed me that they do not accept Bill payment drafts and the banker that deposited it was new and did know and that the funds are being sent back so I called Rush card multiple times and now they keep saying that corporate is say the draft had cleared and no funds have been sent back to them and my bank faxed them proof that the funds have been return on 05/10/2018 and it’s now August and they still claiming the same story even after they have proof the funds was sent back 3 months ago.

    I ordered a replacement card. Received it, activated it, loaded it and used it when my payroll direct deposit wasn’t showing up on muy card i contacted them these mf gonna tell me that my deposited wed sent back to my employer and that my card was closed for fraudulent activity. Im like wtf i would know if my card is being used I have text asked and all that shit set up. And you all would’ve called me NOPE these df just couldn’t give me a real rrason but my other 3 cards are all active and ok and even the one my DD goes to say’s active with a bal of .74 so how come y’all wanna play with my shit. So I asked for corporate no they don’t have one you habe to reach them by fax wtf kind of bs is that everyone had a corporate no… Im like ok I’m calling BBB and filling a lawsuit against y’all thieving ass been with them since 2004 when they 1st came out and lately I’ve been experiencing nothing but bs they had a fucking security breach and don’t want to tell anyone. It’s cool I’m gonna make sure this company goes belly up..I asked to speak with there mangers the higher up they can’t even get anyone on the line no one is available never heard a such seriously…..Russell Simmons you needs to give the company back tip you’re ex wife.

    These FUCKING MAGGOTS LOCKED MY CARD UP WITH OVER $300 ON IT AND SENT ME A CHECK WHICH I COULDN’T CASH AT ANY LOCAL BANKING INSTITUTES. I CONTACTED THEM ON MANY OCCASIONS SINCE DEC 27.18(TODAY IS FEB 23.18)AND THEY ACT AS IF IM AN ISSUE FOR BEING CONCERNDED ABOUT MY DUPLICATE CHECH THEY FAILED POORLY TO SEND!!!!!I SPOKE TO A SUPERVISOR,OH LET ME CORRECT THAT,MANY SUPERVISORS AND I WAS SPOKE TO LIKE IM BOTHERING THEIR DAY!IM CONTACTING MY ATTORNEY THIS EVENING!!

        We all need to get in on it, we can do a civil suit. I will be seeing an Atty on Monday, I will ask about it and whatever comes out of it, and they say we got a case, I will get at everybody and we can go from there… I cant get with having money and cant get to it for weeks and they keep saying the same fucken thing…. I’m ready to get wit the folks in da middle east, they dint play, see how they did the world trade center…. I need them on my team, thats what will make these assholes get some act right when it comes down to other ppl money! They got balls, big balls!

    My boyfriend is having a issue with rush card corporate office as well. They asked for documentation it was sent..call back the documents was rejected all of the information matches up.. and you speak to customer service and their managers and they all sound like robots repeating the same thing over and over. I’ve had rush card since 2011 and seems like starting last year I’ve experienced nothing but problems. I’ll be closing my account with rush card

    My card was canceled for no apparent reason and then they mail me out a new one to my old address and are refusing to change my new address because corporate saying the documents they receive their not readable mind you the picture of my ID is so big Stevie wonder could see it but there still deny my documents if I have to wait more than two more days for my card I’m bringing up a lawsuit and small claims court because they have almost over $1000 of my money on my card that I haven’t been able to touch for a week now I’m so disappointed and mad I’m late on all my bills and everything because of Rush Card

      this same thing is happening to me i say we start a class action lawsuit against them. i been a member since 2011 to this has never happend to me. i cant even pay my rent i am going to get all kinds of late fees on my bill

        I’m with that, have you talked to an Atty yet? I’m going to see one Monday for just that, a class action suit, once I find out , I’ll get on here and let everyone know what to do and will have contact info for the Atty handling the case…

    I am so pissed with RushCard right now. I Call In to let them know that I have not yet received my new card in the mail and my current one will expired on the 1st. They guy told me he would send another one out, but it will be a $5 fee. He also said, if should get the other card in the mail, I won’t be able to use it. (I said cool, cuz why would I need that card if I’m receiving a new one) I hang up and try to use the card that I still have and Guess what…..IT DOESNT WORK. It was deactivated when he sent the new card. AALLLL MY MONEY IS ON THE CARD THAT I HAVE IN MY POCKET AND I CANT USE IT. I called right back and they tell me it was deactivated because they sent the other card. I explained that I wasn’t informed that my current card wouldn’t work if I requested the other one. They then told me they could expedite he card but I would have to pay $30 and Another $5 for them to expedite another card. WTF!! Now I’m out of $40 on top of not having access to my current funds. They said they couldn’t waive he late fee. I requested a supervisor and was told one isn’t available, call back. Who says that in customer service. I finally spoke with a supervisor and she couldn’t help me either. BASICALLY IM OUT OF $40 and I still have no access to my money. I never experienced such poor customer service In my life. I don’t even know how I’m going to feed my kids for the next few days. Smh

    not able to get my issue resolved with my card being blocked and the corporate office updating my address. i have sent the document they have asked for and i m getting the run around they keep telling me everytime i call that it will b another 24 to 48 hours. i will be contacting a lawyer. i am fed up. not one person is going to pay my bills and get me to work or pay any late fees i have obtained because of this situation.

    My card got blocked for some stupid reason that no one can tell me why. I used the card for ONE day!!! Now I have to wait to get another card. You guys are pretty much holding my money hostage. I’m really thinking about calling local law enforcement to make a report. Unless you can have a card in my hand from UPS tomorrow morning. There was absolutely no reason to block the card. I want the reason it was blocked. If I don’t receive the purchases that I made, you will be held responsible. Someone’s gonna lose their job over this one. I had bills due today. I will expect compensation for late fees caused by RushCards incompetence.

      Same thing just happened to me! But they let me load it but it’s blocked!?! Rushcard fell off!! Too many problems and outsourced the call center!! Corporate know they fulla shit and don’t even wanna be reached!! Time for another class action!!
