    Since I cannot write a complaint to Direct TV I will leave it here. If you go to their website it only gives you the same numbers, you get the same people with the same “no can help” answers. I just got off the phone with a representative after calling the number on my bill for help. Guess what? I called because I WILL NOT AGREE TO A NON-PAPER bill simply because every other month there is an additional 6,7,8.00$ added to my bill for some reason. I always called, then two months ago I was forced due to price increase to cut my channel/package in half.
    I saw where 8.00 more dollars was going to be added to an already over 115.00 bill, so I agreed to a package, not a contract . After the rep. repeatedly asking me what could I afford I said not more that 70.00 (again lost 1/2 channels) I do however have music channels, that I don’t need ,honestly who listens to the TV for radio? Then I said I do not watch sports, guess what I have tons of sports channels, and to top it all off…..I got channels (lots) that was added that I don’t even speak the language. So as usual I called after the 7.00 increase, The representative told me that TV was a luxury, and that she like I was on limited income. Told me she was a single parent ( not my issue) , I explained that I did agree to a 69.01 not a 76.00 + . I told her I had no internet, that I could watch hulu, Netflix, etc. like I am sure she did ( she got quite) She did however proceed to tell me that he poor grandmother had just built a new house and could not get DirectTV. I said well if she just built a house then she is rich! So she has other options like cable. GOOD for her. ON one of the directv websites it says they understand THAT TV, INTERNET IS A NECESSITY, WHILE RINGING IN MY EARS WAS THE FACT THEIR OWN REPRESENTATIVE JUST SAID IT WAS A LUXURY!!!!!!!!!!! I can not save or bundle I have to have a landline for telephone service also, then Satelite, and for a lot of money and not but 12 gigs I have very limited (wi-fi satellite TV) Also noticed on bill that they have given me a 30.00 discount for 12 months!!??? THAT BY THE WAY WAS NEVER MENTIONED IN THE ALLEDGED CONTRACT. She said in July ( which is when my contract ended)?? ok let me see NOV. -July is 8 months !!! yet this supposed discount is for 12 months. I also find it interesting that this bill is from March 14- April 13 —in the middle of the CoVid-19 could this be price gouging? I thought the big companies working with minimal staff would be re-embursed? This rep. this started telling me she was a 3rd party billing….. I said so you really cant make decisions that would help my billing problem. Well we do it, we look to see if you have a discount available…..??? Ok personal service even in possible terminating of services operated by 3rd party. She also told me that THEY DONT CARE IF MY BILL GOES UP!!!! THEY SAY ALL CALLS RECORDED…..then someone needs to take a listen at her CUSTOMER CARE,!!! She the rep. continued in a yelling match until I told her I hope she never faces this after she and her child, partner, or parent never faces the company she works for, and Good bye.
