I was evicted out of my own house by my step family during COVID had nowhere else to stay so I am staying at the Travelodge and have been here since Oct. Now it is getting hot outside.So now time to use air conditioner but it doesn’t work I have been asking now for a week for it to get fixed and get told it works but I have I sleep sweating even when the manager came and checked it he said it was hot in here but it still hasn’t been fixed yet. It keeps trying to kick in but I think it needs to be recharged. I work across the street there it why I stay here can you please help me

My girl tried to surprise me with a stay in Havasu for Valentine’s Day. She checked in over the phone and when we arrived that evening they turned us away because she lived in lake Havasu. At 8 at night after driving 4 hours to see her we had to spend the next hour or so finding another hotel. She and I both checked the website to try and see if there was any mentions of a clause that basically says no local aloud and couldn’t find anything. Thanks for the hospitality on Valentine’s Day, means a lot.
My 17-year-old son and I went to Austin last night because he had a football camp today and the hotel that I had booked I had booked the wrong dates and they had no vacancy so we went to several other hotels and they were all booked also I called travel lodge she said they have rooms with two beds available I was so thankful. When I got to the office The lady who answered the phone was working on something on the computer she continued to tell me how upset she was because this man I treated her like crap that had booked a room and didn’t do it for two nights it took her about 15 minutes to get to me she got me a room it was room 238 and when my son and I went to the room it’s not horribly a smoke and cigarettes and there were roaches everywhere I have pictures of all of them we got out of the room went straight downstairs to talk to her she didn’t believe that there was roaches in there she went up it took her about 10 minutes before she came back down and said she didn’t see roaches I told her that I had pictures of them. I asked her for my money back that there was no way that I was gonna stay in that room and she said sorry no refunds I was like there’s no way you’re not gonna refund my money so that’s our policy I said that is ridiculous there’s roaches all in the room there’s no way I can sleep in there plus I’m allergic to cigarette smoke and I was already having trouble breathing as I was waiting for her downstairs. I did not have Enough money for another room so my son and I had to drive all the way back to Spring Last night and he missed a football camp I just wanna refund for the money that I spent on the room I think that’s only fair.
