I have a complaint about Assurion. When I tried to file a claim they wanted a government ID and Avadavid. It was required that I take pictures with my phone, Save to file, and then upload it to their site and the associated claim number. ADDITIONALLY, I was told I had to print out an avadavid (WHICH COULD NOT BE FILLED OUT ONLINE), fill it out, then take pictures of everything, save to a file, and upload to their site BEFORE they would replace my son’s phone (WHICH WAS BEING RETURNED). I know a lot of people are computer savvy, but there are MANY that are not. This is a ridiculous policy!

Verizon should be upfront when they sell you the insurance and tell you that this is going to happen. Especially when APPLE CARE IS CHEAPER, faster, and easier with none of the associated nonsense! Try to tell Verizon. You know what they say, “We’ll take your complaint and get it right over to Assurion.” Great! Why would they care? They instituted the policy. BUT, Verizon should care. They sell the policies!!!! TELL THE CUSTOMERS WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU SELL IT.

I am currently involved with the installation of 5G in the State of Florida. I am trying to have someone reach out to me about a major situation that is occurring with your contract out here in Florida. I am hoping that someone from Verizon will reach back out to me so as I may bring them up to dat on what is taking place.

I am appalled at how my situation has been treated. Windstorm snapped a tree in half breaking a telephone pole and taking down the wires. I was in contact with customer service Ren, who couldn’t seem to grasp my lines were down then another fellow Juatahn or something who closed another ticket I had created because neither of them could get the fact I had DOWNED wires! FINALLY I get technical help and Kevin in Delaware was awesome except my problem continued with Verizon even with his best attempt at helping me. Verizon wouldn’t come out till the pole was fixed per Mike in your Northeast Engineering dept. So after a couple of back and forth since NO ONE wanted to help. I finally get National Grid to come replace the pole, remove the broken one and re hang their wires. MIND you Verizon never gave me any kind of “hey those aren’t our wires” or this is what you need to do instead being a LONG FRIGGIN TIME CUSTOMER MIND YOU I get the runaround and complete lack of concern or service for a PAYING CUSTOMER! I also have been in contact with Paul Diapolitis (sp) who sends out a tech to just leave me a message telling me old charter communication wires are there and it was a tangled mess and I would have to get them removed. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? VERIZON had NO problem hanging those wires alongside mind you the Spectrum ones ,10 or so years ago when I switched over from Charter to Verizon. So as far as I’m concerned this ENTIRE PROBLEM IS YOURS!! So Mike at Northeast engineering tells me that’s basically where I’m at, I would have to get Charter/AKA Spectrum out to remove old wires. At this point I am now enraged. How is a customer supposed to know what belongs to what? So since its now my problem yet again I call Spectrum and begin with a bit of runaround but finally get the Supervisor Rob (same position as Paul/ see above) who was FABULOUS! Took about an hour of his own time to explain to me the different wires and how they would get their lines back up where they belong but he would need to call in a bucket truck. ONce all this was explained and Rob drove off within TWO HOURS a Spectrum bucket truck pulled into my driveway and hung their wire back up even offering to HANG VERIZONS!!!!!! THAT’S how a customer should be treated!!!!!! Then he comes back up to explain to me spectrum wires are temporarily up until another truck comes back out to make sure they are permanent. THAT IS SERVICE! Soon after I call Paul Diapolotis and let him know they came and re hung their wires, and I even told him that they offered to do his. He tells me he was off that day and if his “Memory serves him” he will put a tech on it for Monday. Well I’ll be calling Monday to “remind” him, as well as taking a video of all the work national grid did, spectrum did, and reminding Paul the Spectrum wires will remain intact as they have ALWAYS BEEN and the downed hard wires between poles Verizon seems to not give a shit about need to be re hung immediately whether or not they might still be touching a Spectrum line. SO when Verizon finally decides to stop passing blame around and hang these wires ! No more excuses, no more “it’s a tangled mess” Rob and I together pulled the “mess” apart. So Not that this will go anywhere since I’m dealing with Verizon but wouldn’t it be nice if someone might have some consideration to actually reach out to see if my problem has been rectified? I warn you though in writing here and now if and when Paul and his crew come out to re-hang the wires if again they are not deemed satisfactory and refuse to hang them without causing damage to Spectrum wires I will then ask Verizon to immediately remove any wires from Verizon from my property all 610 feet of it. This will more than likely fall on deaf ears as ALL of my experience now with Verizon has, so I challenge someone to reach out to me and to your team in Massachusetts to learn how to treat your customers in a much more appreciated, and respected way. As far as my situation, I want it fixed, no more excuses, no more damage done and do it now. 3-16-19 8:23 Pm

I need someone that knows what is going on to please contact me in reference to my Verizon reception. For the last six months or longer the service in Meggett South Carolina has been awful, static, lost calls, dropped calls, just terrible reception. We are unable to even talk on our cell phones indoors. I have to go to one spot in my front yard to get a call through. My husband does have a little better luck, he is able to sit on the back porch. I have called Verizon but the answer I get is we are so sorry for your inconvenience. We were sent a Network Extender but that has not helped at all. It is our understanding by residents in the community that a tower in our area went down during one of the hurricanes this year and it has not been replaced. It is really bad when we pay $100 a month for phone service and can only use our cell phones when we are away from home. Can someone in the know please give me an answer to what is going on otherwise we will have to drop Verizon and go to another company. Please email me since I can not talk to anyone on the phone. I cannot hear through the static and blank spots if I should move one way or the other. My address is 6840 Early Jersey Rd, Meggett, South Carolina 29449

I didn’t think yahoo “mail” could get any worse…you have dispelled that fantasy since buying it. What deep inner demon drives you to make the e-mail experience more convoluted, frustrating and un-enjoyable and adding things I never asked for and DON’T WANT. You continually change “features” that I never asked for, features like adding on every response to one e-mail instead of them coming from the individual sender. Your repulsive moving ads have gotten more disgusting and yet I have to pay YOU to get rid of ads when YOU ARE MAKING MONEY OFF OF THEM TO BEGIN WITH? That used to be called “gouging”; apparently it’s “just business”. Why is it that I get personal replies from people on someone else’ emails that I don’t even receive? Because these people are in my e-mail addresses shouldn’t cause me to receive e-mails I don’t even have a clue what they’re about!! I sent a snail mail several months ago, and yes I was angry, about all these problems…but I guess customer “service” is just an ad talking point. Please don’t even use the term “customer service” in your advertising. And wouldn’t it be a miracle to actually be able to contact a real breathing English speaking representative, by phone, in this country and not India! But then this will no doubt go in to the virtual round file. You’ve already proven you think you’re to big to give a rip….you might ask General Motors about that.
You have all but destroyed what was a marginal e-mail experience to begin with. Have a nice day.
P.S. if you do actually bother to respond, please don’t clutter my e-mail box with a generic nothing response. An actual response addressing the above issues would be appreciated…I won’t hold my breath!

8/22/18 Amazing I finally found this to e-mail your company. I am so disgusted by your corporate behavior to the Firefighter fighting some of the largest fires in Northern California. Your company has evidently throttled their data in this time of extreme danger. Your response, upgrade your data plan. Ridiculous! These men risk their lives to protect all of us ( remember 9-11 ?). The audacity of your cdmpany to do this while they are fighting to protect homes and peoples lives.
You are a LARGE corporation and to not care about these men and the job they do is absolutely disgusting!
How would you feel as a corporation if there was an emergency situation and they needed additional support or lives and property would be lost and they could not get thru for help because of your data restrictions?
People that I have spoken to about this are also very disgusted with your company’s action!
    You’ll probably just delete this……
