    We have two KIA’s at the current time. Our 2017 Forte has been having electrical issues for the last year and a half. It comes and goes. But recently the headlights and all dash lights just suddenly go out. I have been doing some research and it’s happening to many folks with the same year and model. They say they can’t do anything for it because it’s not easy to get it to duplicate in the shop. As I said it happens randomly and suddenly. With many cars having the same problem why do they not recall and replace wires. I have noticed when it acts up that the switch you use for blinkers and brights and the lights in general has been touched when it happens most. So it’s something in there. Replace that unit and any relay there. This is not safe to drive with anywhere in storms or night time. I carry a spot light incase so I can see to pull over. Unfortunately I am unable to purchase another car at this time. So I am stuck. I can say it will not be another KIA and I have stopped referring people to them. I am actually telling people to not purchase. KIA needs to step up safety for customers or shut down.

    My daughter and I bought a 2023 Sportage at Ken Ganley Kia Dealer in Alliance, OH on March 25 2023. Very upset when I found that a service contract for 4 years or 48,000 miles. Do they not trust in Kia warranty? VERY BAD SALES!

    I’ve been a customer and buying Kia automobiles since 2012, I’m a very disappointed customer with the poor service and customer service that is very unprofessional. You have customer service reps who think they are mechanic’s and very rude. I’ve had several recalls on my 2014 Kia Soul, the engine went out with 119,000 miles, still under warranty, which Kia refuse to fix, stating it was out of warranty, which it wasn’t. This is our 4 th vehicle paid in full. We will not buy from colonial Kia of colonial heights, va, and will not recommend them to no one. Post on Facebook, twitter’s and instagram website. This issue has been going on for a year.

    i have a 2012 kia sportage, bought it new , can say i really never had a issue until the motor started to shut off while driving. back in july got a letter from kia about a motor issue and found out ours was one of them. we took it into a local kia dealer in Bentonville, ar. was told they would need to keep our car for a while to replace the motor.
    they could not supply us with a loaner and was told to rent a car and that everything would be covered by kia. this is were everything went sour. i rented from enterprise of Bentonville, ar. had the car a month or so. after calling the local kia dealer every other day for a loaner , they took a new 2021 kia off the lot and let us drive it till the car was done. now the crazy begins, i per the kia dealer sent all my paper work with all the local kia dealers information i sent it next day air to kia, now just a reminder this started back in july. i waited for over four months , i have been calling every other day asking when i would be reimbursed. and being lied to by kia. they lost my file ,took two weeks to find it in some other department. and was tole everything looked great , but then i was told that they would not cover the car insurance. and that was there policy. all four of the people i talked to at the local kia dealer are now gone. the last person i talked to from kia corp. told me the paper worked has been sent for review. and now after talking to over ten people from corp. and a reminder i had to keep calling to get them to help me. none of this was my fault, it was all kia and the disrespect i got from all of them was sat the least very unprofessional. we have bought three kias over the last 10 years , if this is how to take care of your customers you need to take a look at your self. you should be ashamed of yourselves for how you treat people. i finally got an answer as to when i will get half of my reimbursement , they say e.t.a. 11-25-2021 will see.

      OMG! same thing is happening to me. I had my car towed to the local Kia dealership. I was told via text that they don’t have an estimate time on when my car will be fixed. When I asked for a loaner, they said the don’t do that anymore. AND to reimburse you it’s up to $40 a day excluding tax and insurance. That is not great customer service at all. No other car dealer does that to their customers.

      Same issues with Kia Optima. Crain Kia in Sherwood only wants to give me what I owe on the car and not what the car is worth. It’s not my fault that I got a terrible car with a bad engine. Already been without my car for 3 weeks now. Its going to be a while til they can get the motor and have it installed plus who’s going to pay for my rental vehicle.

    I have a 2012 Kia Sportage and when I purchased my vehicle I was informed that the balance of the warranty was still active. I have been trying to get my car serviced with Kia since the end of July. No sooner I paid my car off, the air compressor broke and a few days afterwards, the power windows quit working. I rolled them down and they wouldn’t go back up. Drove to the service department in the rain and they wouldn’t help me. Was informed they were behind and couldn’t get me in for at least 3 weeks. Also did an online chat and was told someone would get back with me in 24 hours. Nothing!! Here it is October and I haven’t heard “Boo” from anyone. Corporate never responded to any of my emails either. Had to pay out of pocket to have my windows fixed. Extremely disappointed with Kia.

      WRITE DOWN EVERY TIME YOU CALL, THE TIME ,DATE,WHO YOU TALKED TO AND WHAT THEY TOLD YOU.

    My husband and I are new owners of a 2021 kia K5, we purchased MARCH 2021. The break pads needs to be replaced already making a noise. My husband spent hour or so on hold trying to contact corp office because we have been waiting for pads to be delivered to pomona Ca dealer and its been 8 business days and they said by Wednesday 7/21 we pick up pads since they are too new to be in stock. one dealer had them 5 hours way i was willing to drive if it was going to take longer than 7/21. I need my car for work, calling Pomona checking in my eta for part was told there is no tracker on my paid part, and man was very rude his tone was not customer friendly and made us very upset telling us we just have to wait and nothing else they can do. the part should have been at least a next day shipping for being a 2021 and not having part in stock, or offer a rental because its now very stressful for me to work i require my own car. i need to make sure my husband gets a call back 951-557-1973 or 626-606-4749 best way is to leave a cb number or send an email. nobody should be treated the way we were over the phone in parts department.

    I have 2011 optima with 54000 miles and I need to replace the rack and pinion steering which is going to cost me 1200.00 dollars. First why is the steering gone bad and second why isn’t that covered under some kind of warranty. I have a 2006 Honda accord with 337000 miles and never had any steering issues. I will be looking soon for a new car but unless Kia can help me out I’ll be looking at something different
