Hello I always shop at the store on Brittain rd in Akron Ohio. Yesterday this white man no he wasn’t a employee. Told them I seen my putting stuff in my purse.so I was approached and asked by staff which sees me in there shopping all the time. I opened it and showed her everything in it because I had nothing to hide . But that was so degrading and hurtful. To think this man must hate my skin Color so much that he lies on me and for them to believe him enough to question me it really hurts. I really enjoyed shopping there now I don’t even feel comfortable going in there just makes me question alot. I never even took my purse off my shoulder or opened it . I wish they would watch there cameras but this just isn’t right I have been a loyal customer for years .

    Hello,

I am sending this email because my heart is sadden deadly. I am a victim of domestic violence and due to my situation have became begging on my rent. I was referred to Salvation Army. The intake lady that gave me a call was very rude and her attitude towards me left me in deeper despair than I already am. I shopped faithfully with Salvation Army before this incident occurred in my life. Have spent thousands of dollars and EVERYTIME I rounded the change up. The managers at your Pearland location knows me because I am a regular customer. Manager current and past. I just feel really bad because the time I needed help Salvation Army can not help me because the lady said my rent and bills could not exceed 1,370 for a 2 bd. Cost of living has gone up and she was totally rude with me for calling and leaving 2 messages.

I am facing being outside and i have nowhere to go and the store I frequently shop at has purchased several living room and bed room suits not to mention other things have an employee talk to me like I was trash. I am a victim and I only needed help.

I don’t know what you say anymore about Salvation Army but when I needed someone their was none to help me. So all these years of donating was in vain.

I think the policy should change when it comes to the limit. Especially that i live in a 2 bd 2 bth. Also the lady need not be mean to me. Being homeless is scary and I’m sorry i called and left 1 too many messages.

    Thank you

Bet you wish you thought that woke statement out first before you riled up your donors. How’s that working out for you? I hope you don’t get another penny, you leftist cowards!

I have supported the Salvation Army for over 50 years and have a bequeath in my estate for the organization. As of today I am severing ties with the organization and removing the bequeath. Extremely disappointed in the direction this once noble organization has taken.

I will no longer donate to the Salvation Army. Your Woke approach will spell the end to donations. There is nothing more divisive, racist and flat out wrong than the path you have chosen to take. Your leadership needs to,reign. If not, you have destroyed a worthwhile cause. Oh, I’m a person of color, for the racist in your organization that see people and judges them by the color of their skin.

    Dear Salvation Army,

Actually, let’s talk about the fact that after having read this monstrosity from your International arm that claims that the problem of racism is whiteness, I have given my last dollar ever to the Salvation Army.

I am utterly saddened that another great institution has been infiltrated by Leftist, Communist garbage intending to divide people and undermine the foundations taught by Christ, furthered by Martin Luther King and countless others to STOP looking at each other and the color of our skin. Now, you say we must do exactly that, and apologize for our inherent evil whiteness.

It is racism when ALL colors make judgements of any color strictly on the basis of skin color. BLM and their ideas are wrong and are RACIST in nature.

Stop this Leftist drift now and pull this BS from your site. Apologize for an extremely, tone deaf error.

My long relationship and support of the Salvation Army is over beginning now.

I am severely disappointed in the Salvation Army now. After donating for 30 years, and volunteering at the local citadel many times I will not support you anymore.

You say that I have to repent for my white priveledge and that I’m inherently racist.
This is so wrong, as I have helped many black families in the Detroit area.

I work with many people of color who are successful. With this new “woke stance” from SA, you have lost many people who used to help your cause. Good luck.

I planned to leave you a large donation in my will, but will look for another charity who does not consider me a racist just because of my skin color. Your upper management should reconsider your stance on this topic.

Did you know that they DO NOT hire handicapped people. I have been trying to get on there for 2 years. When I asked about it I got NO response. Plus they wouldn’t answer me. They ignored me. This is the one in Waycross Ga.

Hello, I am calling on behalf of a senior citizen in New Baltimore, Michigan. Yesterday I got the telephone number , I thought for the Salvation Army there in New Baltimore and ended up calling her number twice. She was very polite in telling me that I had the wrong number. The second time I called she repeated that it was the wrong number. I relooked up the number on my computer and saw that her number was listed at least 7 times online and the reason I suspect is that it is the former number for the old Salvation Army building on Green St. in New Baltimore, Mi. She informed that that her daughter tried to straighten this out for years to no avail. Your corporate telephone number is a dead end. Would one of your tech savvy members please get to the bottom of this and remove the incorrect information to give this woman some relief? Please call me, Mary Eliza Paisley at 586-749-6389 or correct the misinformation toot sweet. Thank you, Mary Eliza
