    I had travel insurance through AAA, for which I am billed monthly. In February I received a check from AAA for $62. There was no explanation with it. I called AAA to ask about the check. They told me that the policy was cancelled for nonpayment of premiums. I sent them proof that all payments were made. I got no response. Then I receive a check for. $31 with no explanation. IF this policy was cancelled for nonpayment, why would they send me checks for repayment of premiums? I got no explanation…just told that they would not reinstate the policy. Their latest email to me re travel insurance stated that I have no death benefit….with the policy I have for life insurance. Again, they are canceling another policy for nonpayment. I sent them proof of the last three monthly premiums. It seems like no one at AAA cares to straighten this mess out. If, in fact, they cancelled this policy as well, why did I get their monthly bill yesterday in the mail? Previously I have even commented to their representatives that it is the only company that has never screwed up. Something has changed within this company and no one will help me. I was about to change my auto and rental insurance to AAA, but now I am having second thoughts.

      Sorry this happened to you. I am also sincerely sorry I did not read all the reviews before I purchased roadside coverage from AAA. They are indeed Horrible. I took my car in for service in March 2023 on a recommendation from a coworker. Worse thing I have ever done. They charged me $2200. and the problem is still not fixed after 4 visits. They act as if I am bothering them and that I should not be upset. In between the second and third visits I needed a tow which took 5 hours for them to come. I think that is the standard wait time from what I have now been hearing. I called the so called corporate headquarters. The guy had me on hold for 15 minutes pretending he was making a report and escalating the complaint. Yet he would not give me a complaint number . He just said someone would call back in 3 or 4 days. No one ever called. It is apparent that they do not care about their customers; especial their female customers. I will NOT be renewing the road side coverage plan needless to say. This was my first and last experience with them. I was trying to hold on to my car for a while, However, I think they have messed it up totally. What do you do when you have been robbed of your money, the problem still exists and the ceo and the company are not made to be responsible? Just sad.

    This happened on January 24 2023.
    While on the Expressway returning from Augusta Ga back to Stone Mountain Ga
    Approximate 28 miles from home
    My left tire blow
    I managed to get to safety on the side of the road
    Called AAA for a Tow Truck
    They sent a young gentleman out with to place air in my tire
    I did not air in my tire
    My tire was split in two pieces and I did not have a spare
    It needed to be towed
    Call back to AAA and was told someone would be there in 20 minutes
    20 minutes turned into 5 hours on a busy Ga highway in the middle of the day
    AAA never came or called me
    I called another Co .They got to me in 20 mins and I had to pay 125 dollars
    I will not be renewing my membership with them
    A membership since 1974

    On Nov 7th 2022 I called triple A to get my truck towed from my house to the mechanic shop which is approx 3 miles. Within that 3 mile my truck suffered tremendous damage by the Triple A driver
    Called to report the driver and the damages and they tell me that the driver took photos and reported no damage.

    Well I have video and photos before pickup during pick up and pictures from the mechanic when the truck was dropped off – Mind you the driver dropped my truck off at the wrong location and notify no one left my keys in the truck and left the doors unlocked,

    Triple A sent me to a body shop for an estimate to the damages they caused to my truck and it’s approx $8,000. And they want to cut the roof off my truck! Never ever call this company – I’m still waiting on a call as to what they are going to do – Highly highly do not recommend

    I am somewhat shocked by the reviews but totally agree. I’ve been with AAA for over 27 years. Never had a problem/issue with service call until last Friday night Oct. 15, 2022. Call for flat tire service at 8:55 pm. Was told they will be there at 9:45 pm. Then go another message they would be there at 9:52. Next quoted times were 11:52 pm, 12:08 am and 12:52 am the next day. I called and was told they would have someone to call me . Fernandez Towing was suppose to be making the service call. I end up having to pay a stranger to change my tire. Needless to say, I am very much contemplating renewing my membership. So disappointed.

    BTW the headquarters office number on the website is disconnected.

    I have paid my premium for over twenty years!!! My car was involved in a hit and run. AAA replaced the damaged headlight. I requested if they could replace the other headlight so both headlights matched, they refused!!!

    AAA is terrible. I was locked out of my car I called AAA at 4:10 pm and was told someone will be there at 5:08 no show. So I called about 6 times after that and the customer service reps kept stating the person is in route. The last time I called at 10:08 I was told that someone would call me back within 30 minutes on a update. Here it is the next day and I still haven’t heard anything. The service rep asked me if I wanted an appointment for the next day I stated no I need to get home and how could you ask me that like you know my financial situation I also stated I pay AAA to take care of these problems. She played it off like she escalated the problem and I would be receiving a phone call. I was out in the street for hours with my 5yr old child. TERRIBLE i WILL NEVER RENEW THIS SERVICE

    BTW. In addition to my recent post, if not for my low tire pressure light on my dashboard, just another mile down the road my dad and I would have been stranded on a single lane, winding non-lit highway with limited cell service. And they would have been telling me at 11:02 p.m. that they wouldn’t be able to help us. So they would’ve left us overnight in my car!

    Started my day July 20th at 7:00 am so i could get my vehicle to the shop early. They sent 2 tow trucks to wrong address another one that could not tow my vehicle. I waited three more hours for the next tow truck which never came no one called. I was told when i called they couldn’t get a tow tuck for my vehicle this they found out after i stood in 90 degree weather with no water for 8 hours .. Good customer service does not exist. When you call they act like you are bothering them. I have braces on both my feet so difficult to stand for long periods of time. If i am paying for a towing service and you cant tow my car what exactly am i paying for.

    AAA service is HORRIBLE to say the least! I am a senior citizen and the first time I called them in the night with a flat tire they took 5 1/2 HOURS to get to me! I called them at 10:30pm they got there at 2:15am! And the driver had an attitude!! I’m a premiere member and the tow company said they could not tow me home! They lied and said they were sorry please don’t leave AAA we will help you pay your next fee, etc. Then I called them again because I locked my keys up in my car and THEY NEVER CAME!!!!! I called them at 7:30pm for them to have the nerve to call me at 11:30pm and say they were there and the car or me were no were to be found! REALLY?
    I do not know what the heck has happened to them but I will no longer refer ABSOLUTELY ANYONE TO THEM EVER AGAIN! Their service is HORRIBLE NOW and they do not care about helping their customers. They just want your money! Not any more! AAA YOU ARE A HORRIBLE COMPANY AND I HOPE YOU GO BANKRUPT, USING OUR MONEY AND DOING NOTHING TO INSURE OUR SAFETY OR THAT WE GET WHAT WE PAYING FOR! THANKS FOR NOTHING! Twelve years for what???

    wife and i coming back from cleveland car breaks down on I-90 in ohio sat waiting for tow truck for 7 1/2 hours they sent one truck to wrong place in wrong state second truck they sent to my house took an act like a seal team mission with Lat. and Long. before they showed up WTF do you pay for!

    AAA is not what it once was, it’s a waste of money if you are over 50 miles from home . They left me stranded in the middle of nowhere in 29° weather . Told me to call 911 they couldn’t help me ,I was 81 miles from home . I had to find tow truck and it cost me $675 ! They are good at excuses ,won’t pay for tow ,it has happened to me twice in 2 years . My advice, save your money,AAA has become a joke !

    my calls for roadside help at about 5:40 pm. When she called and explained to them not responding to me she was put on hold for 22 minutes. My wife, myself gave up and our daughter picked me up at 6:25 pm.

    I have had your service for 28 years and my cars, trucks and home are all on your insurances too. I have never had a problem like this before. For a roadside service I would think that answering a stressed persons calls for help would be answered faster. like in the past with your services.

    with which once was a good company… on 9/24/21
    I complained to San Antonio office spoke to Mary Lou….
    We broke down on 9/23/21 requested tow at 4:26p.m was told wrecker would be at 6:08 pm,no show, no information given as to why, called 5 times told each time to wait,that “THEY” would call back as soon as they knew, what a joke, no information was given till 5th call, a rep Dulce went above and beyond to notify me of info….Dulce had a supervisor call to say Tow would pick us up in 30 min which he did at 9 P.M…..
    4:26 to 9 p.m.this is totally unacceptable especially being in a suburb of San Antonio,with hundreds of tow trucks, a very trying nerve-racking experience for a 77 year old diabetic and another elder in vehicle with extremely high blood pressure, just the mere fact of having to call 5-6 times shows something is bad wrong…AAA I guess no longer meets the grade, but AAA doesn’t waste a second to grab your membership fee…
    I expect the best service possiable, I expect to be able to count on your service’s especially after AAA accepting our hard earned money….not a mere excuse of the “system” not pushing it thru””, what ever that means, several tow truck companys told me something bad was going on with AAA for a good while now, this put the icing on the cake with me, our well being of not being stranded and forgotten about is worth much more than a system screw up…..poor excuse AAA,

      I have had this same type of experience with them! They have NEVER CALLED ME BACK, and I found out that the complaint I had in never even got put in!!!! The tow truck companies they are using are horrible and so are they! They no longer have excellent customer service. This company has gone to hell in a hand basket! I will NEVER refer anyone to them again, and I am cancelling my policies and services with them after 12 years they have gone to the pound of just in business for a profit not to service the customers! SAD, SAD, SAD!!!!!

    Under my married name I was a member for another 30 years

    I had a flat tire today, it took 4 hrs. To get this fix.

    Never expected to get such service from AAA. I kept telling my friends to get AAA, now I have to call them and tell them my story, it was not a nice experience, the worst part was trying to get through and talk to someone to find out about my service order, one time they had me waiting 50 minutes. I tried from another phone, where I got to talk to somebody, that call was 30 minutes, after that they gave me a call to tell me someone would come over.

    In trying to write to you I found this page and I see that others are having same experience. Shame on you, such a good company coming down to this.

    I signed up with AAA auto insurance I told the person on the phone I wanted the best insurance for my truck .$1000 $115.00 A MONTH So I move to greater Los Angeles my truck gets stolen and found everything I just put into the truck was gone including my power tools $6000 grand gone .so I’m thinking im coverd are you kidding they sent me a check for $650it would have been $1,650.00they took out the deductible not only did I loose all my power tools I lost alot of work cant work with out tools .So AAA very oh and they raised my monthly payment $189.00 because I moved Thanks AAA

    Hello my husband has been waiting for an aaa since 9:19 pm and now it is 1:20am and they keep you on hold you ask for an supervisor and they don’t give you one he still stuck on the side of the fwy I need to know what services are we paying for if the company going to leave me on the side of the road this so unprofessional

    I had a very bad set of problems yesterday 04/26/21. I had a Doctor appointment at 2:00 pm and my car stalled in the parking lot. When I was through with the appointment I called AAA for a tow. This was roughly 3:15 pm with a promise time of 4:10 pm for the tow truck. After waiting past 4:30 pm I tried to call AAA back and question where is the tow truck. no one would answer , I was on hold with the roadside service several times up to 15 minutes and on several other AAA telephone numbers, 10 minutes each time. No one was answering.

    My cell phone had 75% when I started out to the Doctor and was drained to 23% at 6:00 pm. I decided to leave the car in the parking lot and try again this morning. Before I left I received a call from a tow truck who stated he could tow me after 6:30, this was called in from my wife at home after I had called her about AAA not answering my calls for roadside help at about 5:40 pm. When she called and explained to them not responding to me she was put on hold for 22 minutes. My wife, myself gave up and our daughter picked me up at 6:25 pm.

    I have had your service for 28 years and my cars, trucks and home are all on your insurances too. I have never had a problem like this before. For a roadside service I would think that answering a stressed persons calls for help would be answered faster. like in the past with your services.

    I find myself questioning, do I really need to continue these services?
