I purchased a 2019 Honda Accord Sport on 08/10/19 in Houston, TX from Honda Cars of Katy. I purchased additional extended warranty along with additional maintenance packages. However as of last year Honda Cars of Katy has refused to honor the maintenance package that I purchased stating that the company who held the contract, who they contracted to sell these packages is no longer in business. The maintenance package I purchased was purchased at the dealership and was included in the finance loan agreement. I have already paid the money to Honda, however they are now refusing to honor the contract. This is very upsetting and to me flat out fraud! Not only are they refusing to honor the contract I’m not being asked to pay out of pocket for services included in the package I purchased. I requested a refund of the money that I paid for this package and also spoke to the dealership manager who only offered me a 50% discount on oil changes. I’m requesting someone at your office call me back with some answers because this isn’t right.

Bought a 2021 Honda Pilot last year before heading overseas. All the sudden cars had 3 instances where all the lights on the dashboard have come on. Took it to shop certified Honda shop out here in Germany and they are indicating its an issue with ABS modulator and warranty on Honda is only good in US not overseas.
Before buying the vehicle I specifically asked if we took the car overseas would there be an issue with warranty coverage. If this is true I wouldn’t have bought car and waited until I PCS’d to Germany.

I am writing you regarding my 2012 Honda Civic. This year/color had a recall on the paint way back when. My paint at the time was fine. NOT showing any signs of peeling, cracking, oxidation. Until the last 1-2 years. It now looks HORRIBLE! I have inquired several times when having my car serviced about the paint recall only to be told it was “expired” Then I was cleaning out a file cabinet at home and found a letter from Honda “extending” the recall for 7 years. Of course it was just past that seven year mark. I was again told “sorry, it’s expired” I had Honda auto body look at the car and gave me an estimate to paint it for $6500.00!!! I am beyond frustrated that Honda will not honor the recall on the paint. My car looks terrible!!!! She still has lots of life in her (only has 115,000 miles) And I cannot afford a new car and payment right now! I just want the car to be fixed. It gets worse and worse as the months go by. I have pictures I can send you. What is the most frustrating is when the recall was active, it wasn’t showing any issues, and when it did, I was told no. No mention of the extension at all. Then upon finding the letter extending it, I’m “too late”. I expected better service from Honda. Please help me have pride in my car again.

Accidents do happen. My Versamow accidentally mowed a piece of 4×4 pressure treated wood. The mower kept going despite a gashing hole on the body. The blades were intact. I took the picture of the unfortunate 4×4 and the damage of my mower should you need it. Only Honda does it!

THE car currently has approx. 14,388 miles and at this point we are unsure weather we should pick I up or leave it with service. on her last visit in march a sales rep offered to switch her into a new vehicle but she’s not able to run her credit right now as we are in the process of purchasing a home. At this point We are very disappointed in the service from Honda being left with unanswered questions and no real resolutions and having to be left with a car that is uncertain of the issues its having. Good day. I’m emailing on behalf of my mother (Pauline White) who owns a 2019 Honda HRV that was purchased last year from Honda South in Morrow Georgia . From January 28th 2021 she has brought the car in for service for the same issue 4x( 1/28, 2/9, 3/30, and this current visit 6/7/2021. its still at the shop for past 4 days) and was repeatedly told they don’t hear/see anything wrong. the car out of no where started to make a loud banging noise towards the left front end only when performing a 3 point turn. shifting from reverse to drive in left direction. the noise is not there when driving or making a right turn. only when turning left from coming from reverse. I myself went with her on this 4th visit and drove with the service manager ( Rod Willis) He confirmed to me that he in fact did hear the noise. I also had a mechanic friend outside look at the car and he stated to me and Rod that he believes there’s some tension in the front left suspension, possibly the control arm bushing, steering rack which happens when your on an incline and making a complete left turn. with this info, the car has been with service for 4 days (without being offered a loaner car) only to be told today that the car is ready for pic up and that they still have not pin pointed what the cause is. was also told that if she leaves the car, they don’t know when or how it will get fix as there was only 1 other HRV i the country with this same issue and Honda hasn’t decided how to fix or when they will do a recall because HONDA hasn’t figured out how to fix the issue. we keep being told sorry for inconvenience and the situation is unfortunate yet, still being left with a defective vehicle. my mother is of a certain age and expresses how she doesn’t feel safe in the car. she is currently paying monthly for the car and it seems like she’s being left with not many options other than to continue driving the car in the same condition and as Rod Willis the service manager stated to me, or until ” the issue gets worse” to get a better diagnosis.
