We were supposed to stay at the cabin Base Camp from the 11th-20th of this month. Unfortunately the first night there we had to leave due to bed bugs being in all 3 beds. We did get our full refund however, with leaving in a rush as it was 2am and we were exhausted we had left some food in the pantry.
We called this morning to see if we could get reimbursement for this inconvenience as housekeeping went through and cleaned everything out that was left even though we informed them we had left items there.
We also are asking for reimbursement for the unexpected hotel fees. The 2 nights for the hotels was $250.
We probably had about $250 of food left that was thrown out as well. So we had to pay an extra $500 and then some for more food to replace the food thrown out for an issue that wasn’t our fault.
We talked to Amanda on the phone and found it ridiculous that this can not be done as again this was something that should have 1. Been caught by this company and 2. Has put stress on our first few nights of vacation and putting us out more money than we intended on spending and can no longer do certain things we would like to.
