    My Frigidaire Refrigerator is Defective
    I purchased my Frigidaire (Model# FGHB2844LPD Serial# 4A22916657) refrigerator brand new from Sears 6 years ago on October 4, 2014 and now the insulation that the factory-installed has failed. Ice is growing on the outside on the back of my refrigerator which is causing my refrigerator to rust, on the inside of my refrigerator the insulation is coming out of the seams and falling apart, the ice maker has stopped working/ freezer food covered with frost and its not keeping the right temperature for my vegetables/produce!
    Meanwhile, I have had two appliance companies to come to my home and verify that my refrigerator is not repairable due to a manufacturer defect. I have been given the run around by Sears Home Warranty and both Sears Home Warranty & Frigidaire/Electrolux are refusing to replace my Frigidaire refrigerator. In conclusion, due to the manufacturer defect I am requesting that my refrigerator is picked up and is replaced with one that is comparable. My refrigerator should not have ice growing on the outside back etc. My refrigerator should last longer than 6 years. etc., SInce calls are recorded for training purposes I anticipate that someone in upper management can get the recordings of my dialogue that I’ve had with Sears Home Warranty & Frigidaire/Electrolux in order for me to get immediate resolution concerning this issue before my refrigerator completely goes out.

    Impossible to get anyone on the phone. No response to emails after 3 weeks. Stove stopped working. I see there are several angry emails about the lack of service from this company. Don’t buy their products.

      I had to contact them via chat as I was disconnected from their phone system twice in a row. First fridge arrived with giant dents in the front and the side was bowed out. The replacement is defective in that the mullion is warped concave so the seals don’t touch it so air gets inside. Both were defective when they left the factory so they have very poor quality control, if any. They are willing to refund only the price, not the sales tax or haul fees so I’ll be out $130. I’m 69 years old, on Social Security and a small pension.

      I agree, I called 3 times and have waited average of 1 hour and 45 minutes each time with no help. I ask to speak to a supervisor, put me a hold for a another 30 minutes and then cut me off . My microwave had been used less than a year, smelled like it was burning opened the door, smoke boiling out of the vent on the side. got help to unplug it and get it outside. They sent a repair man from repair service who said, they know we don’t work on these. Now my microwave from you know whom not sure if they can get anyone to work on it. They will call when they figure something out. Sure I will never here from them. Do they have this much faulty products or do they shun the calls. Makes you wonder. I dont know about every one else, but I will never purchase another product from this company. They have terrible products at an unbelievable price. Customer service is even worse. Do they care, not now, but in 5 years when they are not doing well, can’t believe they will be wondering why.

        The Product I purchased was a Frigidaire Microwave at over 500 dollars, Lasted less than a year. Frigidaire sent out repair from A & E who stated clearly, Frigidaire knew they did not work on them. Will never purchase another Frigidaire product. The microwave caught on fire, glad I was home. No help from Frigidaire, will reach out to the state of Ms. for the lemon law, and let them know, microwave is a fire risk. Feel that there needs to be a recall, fire hazard. I was told if I put Frigidaire name in the above comment, it would be rejected. The above comment is tied to Frigidaire product. b

    I purchased a frigidaire refrigirator (hot point) about thBJree years ago. It is Model CTX14CYBJRWW Serial HV756694. The temperature in the freezer ranges all the way from 10 degreesF to 40 degrees F . Accordingly, sometimes I have ice cubes, and sometimes I do not Please help me !!!!

    I’m trying to evaluate if we could sell Frigidaire in our appliance store. The above comments were not inspiring but if you are interested in people selling your equipment you might need to make a way for them to contact you.     Our refrigerator has been broken since 5/12/20. Model #FFHI183IQS SERIAL#BA63525601. There have been 4 service visits. After each visit the refrigerator breaks down in a couple days. Each time the service person say a part needs to be ordered. The last visit was 6/23/30. The service person said he needed to order a part. More than a week ago we called Electroulux to check the status and they told us they were going to order a part and have it sent to us. When I call their service number to express my concerns, the wait time is more than 30-minutes. I get redirected to another department, and then get disconnected. We’ve been waiting more than 3 months for a repair. How would you like this for your family? We are suffering through this Pandemic. Not have a working refrigerator has added a tremendous amount of stress to our lives. Your customer service and repair service is horrible. MY father purchased the refrigerator. What good is a warranty you won’t honor. Unfortunately, I purchased a stove and dishwasher by Frigidaire. BOG MISTAKE! I’ll never purchase another product from Frigidaire. I’m sharing my experience with my friends, family and Home Depot, where the refrigerator was purchased. WE NEED A WORKING REFRIGERATOR NOW!

    We bought a Frigidaire 20 cu. ft. Frost Free Upright Freezer in March and it was delivered 4/1 by Home Depot. Due to Covid-19 we filled it with food to avoid unnecessary trips to the grocery store. By mid June, 2 1/2 MONTHS later the back of our freezer froze and so did the fan. We LOST ALL of our food. Neither Home Depot nor Electrolux (they own Frigidaire) seems to think they have a responsibility to pay for our lost food.

    So IF you want a freezer that cost over $800. to work longer than 2 1/2 months, do NOT buy a Frigidaire OR buy it from Home Depot. Customer Service from both is practically nonexistent!

    Worse experience EVER. Starting 4.28.20 called in a warranty. Here we are on 5.19.20 and three visit still have no working washer. I will NEVER purchase another Electrolux for my community. GOOD LUCK WITH GETTING ANY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

      Purchased new home on 15May2020 which came with brand new Frigidaire kitchen package. Refrigerator worked for one day and inner zone of dual zone range burner was broke from the beginning.

      24Jun2020 – 4 service visits later nothing fixed. Along with my new house payment I had to purchase a backup refrigerator due to the lack of customer service from Frigidaire/Electrolux. They want service reps to replace the condenser and evaporator to fix closed system leak. Service reps who repair these allowances daily said it will not work and a new refrigerator should be provided.

      Not to mention, if you call their service number you will wait for 30-minutes, get redirected to another department, and then get disconnected intentionally by an automated message saying there is a high call volume. This company’s service sucks! FIX IT NOW.
