Dear Sir or Madam: I wanted to give feedback. My cashier was very courteous. I think the source of the problem may have been the manager. I had not been to this store in one year, and at first did not remember anything from before, but after this experience, it is all coming back. I was near the front of the store in the candy aisle. There are more customers near the front of the store and more noise. I was in the aisle by myself, and someone came quickly down the aisle and greeted me. I just had a quick sense of not feeling comfortable and pretended to not hear. It turned out to be the manager, I think (slightly smaller in stature, dark, thick hair, possibly Latino. I think I am remembering now, a strong possibility the same person from a year ago-the same way approached you) From that point, I was in several aisles, but he came charging down the aisle past me at every turn, it seemed. When I was ready to leave an aisle, was at the head of the aisle so that I had to pass him to leave. Without exaggeration passed by me up to ten times in just a few minutes. This could be deemed a coincidence, but I felt very uncomfortable after leaving the store, and was wondering, and then it slowly came back to me that that manager would approach a customer like that, charge at you, in a large, empty store when you are quietly making a selection in seeming solitude. I remember each time he did that I would tense up, because it felt like being charged at, and somehow gave you stress, but I remember that at the time, I thought I must just be feeling sensitive. But after this very uncomfortable experience, I am thinking that maybe in his small way he harasses customers like that in the name of greeting them. Also, when I was there this time, after he had brushed past me rewpeatedly, I had a question, so I asked the cashier to help me. She came and helped me and we were finished and heading back to the register, when he suddenly appears again, and offers help. She asks him the question, and he addresses me with the answer, with what we already knew, just seeming to force more interaction. This may all sound sensitive, but I felt harassed, and ignored him. I also recall when I frequented the store a year ago, that one of the cashiers was just repeatedly outrageously rude. This does not usually happen to me because I am a very polite person. I thought maybe she was just a rude person, and put up with it, but I remember now, thinking “How could a store be trying to drive customers away like that?” This is surmise, but maybe that manager sets the tone for other employees to be that way if they choose. I am writing because I want to continue frequenting that store without those experiences.
    Thank you for your time.
    Sincerely
    Daisy Johnson
