    I purchased a ticket from spirit airlines in feb for a flight in April and had to cancel because of the Corona virus due to the fact that my immune system is already compromised and I didn’t want to take the chance of flying. So I called and cancelled and they gave me a credit. I moved to another state and used my credit to purchase a ticket for my sister to fly back home after driving me across 5 states to move me and when we went to check her in the day before her flight the flight had been cancelled and no one bothered to inform us of this cancellation. I ended up having to pay for another ticket and we were able to get her home. But the fact of the matter is it’s absolute bad business to not inform your customers of a flight cancellation and leaving them high and dry during a very difficult time. I contacted customer relations at spirit airlines and they refused to refund my $$. Then when I told them I was going to go to corporate with this issue they got back to me saying that they were going to refund me only part of my money and that they had refunded it to my credit card ending in 1446 and it would take up to 7 business days to receive this refund. Then upon looking at my statement I realized that they had refunded MY MONEY to someone else’s credit card because the card I used for my purchase ended in 7210. I am beside myself with the service that Spirit Airlines provides. This is a very difficult time for many and I don’t understand how they don’t extend themselves to be a little more courteous to their customers…. after all it is the customers who fly with them that keep them in the air! And I will NEVER FLY with Spirit Airlines again! And I am also blasting my story on social media because I am appalled at the kind of business Spirit Airlines is conducting!!
