    Thurs. 11 July, 2019
    At 10 hrs. PDT, I phoned Telus (310-2255 – 1 – 0) to speak with a human about my July 30 bill totalling $106.86 as Telus representative Keenan told me at 17:30 hrs. PDT Mon.17 June, he would take off $10 per month for a year on all future Billings— but I could not find this deduction on my July billing.
    In the above phone call Telus’ IVR could not connect me to a human and I was kept on-hold for over seven hours (!). During that time I spoke with five different Telus representatives from representatives around the world, all of whom, when I requested to speak to a Canadian supervisor, transferred me back to the beginning IVR!
    At about 16 hrs. PDT I finally was able to speak with a human Telus representative Mathew, who refused to transfer me to a supervisor, until I answered numerous questions about my “problem.” Again I was put on hold for an hour where I was forced to listen to Telus adverts about “worried data”— fifteen times!
    After an hour, a human identifying himself as a Telus supervisor, Sunny, came on the line and after hearing my story, apologized and told me he too could not investigate and change anything because Keenan had not left any notes regarding the reduction of $10 per month for a year. Sunny subsequently promised that a higher supervisor, one who could actually fulfill the $10 per month for a year reduction would phone me Tues. 16 July, exactly at 9 am PDT. Sunny reiterated, “I promise, someone will phone you at nine on tuesday, to clear all this up.”

    At 10 hrs. PDT, Telus representative Keenan phoned me. I told him that I had been promised a Telus phone call at 9 am. Keenan responded, “Telus does not provide an exact time for a call-back.” I requested his supervisor. Keenan responded, “I cannot provide you with my supervisor because supervisors above me are not ‘customer facing,’ (meaning: no direct contact), that is how Telus is set-up as a business.”
    As the primary source of my data incongruities was Keenan, and I was refused access to Keenan’s supervisor, I was forced request to speak with one of Keenan’s colleagues.
    A Keenan colleague, Kaleigh phoned me and told me that another Telus supervisor Raghveer had phoned and spoken with me this very day (Tues. 16 July, 2019), at 8:22 am PDT and had cleared everything up. This purported phone-call did not happen! I was with my wife, having breakfast getting ready for Telus’ 9 am PDT promised phone call: Again my wife and I did not receive any 8:22 am PDT phone call, from anyone— and I most certainly did NOT speak with any Telus representative at 8:22 am PDT, and nothing was cleared up.
    Subsequently, I emailed Telus’ Privacy department ( the following

    Subject: I request someone from the Telus Privacy Department to contact me
    I request someone from the Telus Privacy Department to contact me because:
    1. Data was changed and falsified data inserted into my telus account by a certain Telus supervisor,
    2. When I reported this falsified data change to another Telus supervisor (a colleague of the first) she informed me that no other Telus personnel would contact me, other than the Canadian Team in question (she refused to provide the city).
    3. Then she told me of newer data (that was physically impossible to have occurred) to verify the original changed data.

    As these issues are highly sensitive, I must request a Telus contact with a supervisor or lawyer above the Telus  team “customer facing” level (as these Telus representatives are the perpetrators), ASAP to investigate and take action.

    At noon, I phoned Telus Privacy using their provided number and I got the Telus IVR that sounded pleased that I was back at the beginning.

    This is a complimentary email for Gurpreet that works in Edmonton for Telus. Gurpreet went above and beyond to help me sort out my parents’ move of their Telus services. My parents (aged 93 1/2 and almost 90) moved to a retirement residence yesterday but because their unit was not in Telus’ system, it had to be added by Engineering which took 3 days. Then it would take another week to get a technician appointment. Gurpreet looked up my parents’ old address, discovered that they were using copper wire there and that is what is in the new address so he was able to get an appointment for tomorrow between 11 and 1!! To add to the complication of the move, they wouldn’t have a phone, etc. My Dad fell on Tuesday (the day before the move) and was taken to hospital. We have since found out that he has pneumonia. My Mom has not been able to get updates because she doesn’t have a phone. Please place a commendation letter in Gurpreet’s file from me and my parents.
