I recently bought Bob Evans Glazed Apples. The container says serves 4-6….Not Hardly. The picture on the container is deceiving. If I got 12 sliced apple pieces I was lucky…It was all juice. How disappointing. It was very tasty but does not serve what it mentions…more like 2 people and again all juice. Thank You

March 9th. 2019 at 5:00pm my wife and I stopped in at the main st. location in HAMILTON Ohio to have dinner. When we entered the establishment there were minimal guests approximately eight to twelve, not busy at all. They were two waitresses talking to a fellow at the counter who was seated and finished eating. The waitress continued to talk for about ten minutes or so. I finally got insulted enough I took my cell phone and started taking pictures of the event so as to document it. After a few pics the one waitress saw me and came over to take our order and ask if we were ready, this was the first time we were approved. I told her we didn’t want to interrupt there conversation so we would be leaving. At this point she became very rude and mouthy with even more disrespect. I will be glad to forward pictures if you would like. This disregard to customers has taken place many times at this location. As recently as two weeks ago. You have a great product but what a shame no customer concern. I am concerned for your business and our community if and when it is lost. My wife and I have decided that we will not return to this establishment ever again. So sad I did always enjoy the food.

This past weekend, we were in Talmadge, OH and had the opportunity to visit 2 of your stores. The first visit took place at about 9:00 am on 3/2 at your Howe Rd, Talmadge location. We waited 1.5 hours to get our food. The manager did come around to all of the tables and apologize as he said the cooks had just arrived. After about an hour, he sent out bread to the tables to try to keep customers happy.

On 3/3, we visited your 10054 Stelzer Dr, Burbank, OH store. We waited an hour as we watched people coming in 30 minutes after us get their food. The waitress explained that our order was on the side in the kitchen where they were training a new cook. When we asked to please have a rush put on our order, it finally came out.

Not great experiences when we have always counted on Bob Evans to be very reliable.

What is going on. I eat Bob Evans sausage chili almost everyday at lunch. In the last 2 weeks I’m lucky if I get 15 beans in them. It’s mostly liquid and sausage. I buy them at my IGA in Rittman, Ohio. Thx for your response in advance.

I am so disappointed with Bob Evans! I have been going to Bob Evans in Livonia MI for years. 3 of my friends went to this Bob Evans at my suggestion this evening. Their were new service people from the manager on down . They were not very well trained in the food service. orders were not correct , we had to wait an hour for our meals.
Everyone was finished by the time I received my food . The restaurant should be shut down and competent help hired.

Me and my husband have been eating at the miamisburg oh Bob Evans for the last few weeks. We are moving to Texas, and have had 4 horrible experiences including Thanksgiving Dinner. From getting carryout orders completely wrong to Thanksgiving dinner horrible all the way around. I will say some of our dinners were replaced and great. Until tonight Mark the manager treated my husband like a criminal when he called and actually interegated him when he explained we were traveling, moving to Texas, and are waiting for our truck to get fixed like we were criminals. As we are staying at a nearby hotel until out truck is fixed. I’m still in shock a manager spoke to him like that. Not to mention grub hub and Uber drivers are always in the way and crowding the register area all the time.

On Monday, November 19, 2018, I placed an online order through GrubHub, for a turkey dinner and a slice of pumpkin pie from Bob Evans on 14th Street W in Bradenton, Florida. The meal was to be delivered to my 87 year old mother on Thanksgiving Day at 1:00. Since I live out of state and my mother lives alone and does not drive, I was comforted knowing that she would be getting a hot turkey dinner for the holiday. The order went through and I received my confirmation. I received a text at 11:18 am on Thursday telling me that my order was being prepared and that the delivery should be between 1:00 – 1:10 pm. Imagine my disappointment when I received an email at 12:49 pm, telling me that my order was CANCELLED! GrubHub informed me that they were turned away by Bob Evans. I called Bob Evans and spoke to Stephanie. She was unable to help me and passed me to a man whose name I did not get. He informed me that they “shut down” orders from GrubHub because they were offering a limited menu for the day. I guess it was too much trouble to put that info on the restaurants website. I explained my situation to this man, to no avail. Why would this order be excepted if Bob Evans had no intention of fulfilling it? Nowhere on the website did it say that the there would be a limited menu. Mind you, it was THANKSGIVING and I ordered a TURKEY DINNER! I checked Bob Evans website before placing the order to make sure that they would be open. They website said that they would be open until 8:00 pm. It also said that they were doing turkey dinner TAKE OUT orders. Someone from the restaurant did offer to bring my mother a meal on his way home from work after the restaurant closed at 8:00pm. Would it really have been that big of a deal to create the one turkey dinner take out order while the GrubHub employee was waiting, so that an 87 year old woman could enjoy a Thanksgiving meal? I am so disappointed, annoyed, and frustrated!!

Apparently the customer has no say so at the Bob Evans located in Carrollwood North Tampa Florida on North Dale Mabry Highway. I called in an order which consisted of piece of fried chicken mashed potatoes and gravy a side salad that I paid extra for pumpkin bread and a separate loaf of banana nut bread. The chicken they gave me was cold and shriveled up and hard no gravy no mashed potatoes no pumpkin bread. When I called the store to complain about this the manager essentially told me that I was wrong and if there was nothing she would do for me. Years ago this used to be a very good Bob Evans. A while back they seem to have gone under a renovation a new management and ever since then they are horrible. Apparently the customer has no say so the food they served was pathetic. I ended up throwing the chicken in the garbage because it was too hard to eat. The cucumbers and the tomatoes and the salad were soft and mushy. The only decent thing was the banana bread. The service is horrible the management is horrible. I am on a very fixed income and this meal cost me $22 and it was such a waste I could barely afford it to begin with. I’m very disappointed with this restaurant and will not recommend it to anybody and will also be telling my friends and family about the awful service I have experienced and the quality rather the poor quality of food at this place and the nastiness of a manager named Delilah and whoever the manager was that came on after her on the night of November 19th 2018.

Love the food. Server named Grace spends more time on her call phone than taking care of her tables. Had rotten service from her this morning.

My husband and I have lived in Marysville Oh for five years and sometimes enjoy eating at our local Bob Evans restaurant. I say sometimes because the service goes up (good service and food) and down (the complete opposite). Last night was a downer. Started with the manager who noticed after about a minute that we were a there, said he would be with us. We waited about another minute or so and he then went to a kitchen mike and told someone in the kitchen to come up front. (The manager was doing some paperwork at the front counter and the restaurant was not busy – no one waiting for a seat, many unoccupied booths, some not cleared from past customers etc.) After about two minutes, the person in the kitchen came to the desk for menus (as the manager was walking right by us,) and seated us. Our waitress came quickly to our table for our order and we soon observed how she and the other waitresses were ultra busy. I ordered peach ice tea that tasted like it maybe had a little peach skin dipped in and out of the glass – was horrible. I waited 22 minutes for my chicken soup with the french fry size noodles, very little broth but good size chicken pieces. The sandwich was good. Also, the restaurant was cold. A customer seating next to us who was audible about the cold, talked to the manager who said he would “put it up.” There was no noticeable increase in heat while we were there. I had worn a winter coat which I kept on while eating and was still cold. The manager checked us out and we stated how cold it was and we were not the only ones complaining. He told us he would “put it up.” And he tore off the part of the receipt that explained how to enter a drawing for winning $5,000. which we had planned to enter.
That manager at the very least should be re educated on what Bob Evans hospitality means. And their menu needs help there now also. It will be quite awhile before we ‘try’ going there again.

My wife & I have been loyal customers at the Bob Evans in Brunswick Ohio since it was built. At least 25 years, the food & service has always been very good, I wanted to let you know that there has been a major change within the last few months. Evedently the management has changed, because the staff, which used to work as a fine oiled machine has changed & now it’s everyone for them selves. The food sits & gets cold, while the servers are berated by the management. the servers have nothing good to say about the working conditions. It’s truly a shame, it was the best place to eat in town, but the wife & I won’t be going back anytime soon. We’re hoping an i-hop or Cracker Barrel comes to town soon.

My husband and I have always enjoyed Bob Evan’s restaurant. We went there at least four times a week. On Sept 30th we went for breakfast in Port Charlotte Florida 1050 El Jobean Rd. I was so excited to have my blueberry crepes only to find out they have discontinued. Needless to say I was very disappointed. It has always been a treat for me to have those delicious crepes.
Today, Oct. 2nd we went to lunch in Venice Florida 4312 Tamiami Tri. S. and found out they have discontinued the tomato basil soup. I tried the cheddar cheese soup and it was so thick I sent it back and chose the chicken noodle. That was a disappointment also because the noodles looked like swollen French fries.
I wonder what other items have been change.
I so miss my crepes the most. I have a group of lady friends that meet once a month on a Sunday mornng just to go to Bob Evans and have crepes.
When something is that good why do you stop making them?

Horrible service tonight @ McKnight Rd, Pittsburgh, PA, location….walked out after being ignored for 15 minutes. Server came over after 10 minutes…she saw fit to first bus a table, and without a word, three silverware in the table and walked away. There were 4 other tables, 3 of which has already eaten, and one that was already served. We were not even offered a beverage. We have eaten here before and had great service. Tonight has deterred me from wanting to dine there again.

I have purchased 3 packages of your Sour Cream and Chive Mashed Potatoes in the past 4 weeks — two at Safeway and the other at Shoppers Food Warehouse. It’ a favorite purchase of mine; however, all three were watery and remained so after heating in the microwave. Apparently, you have a current quality control problem with this product.

Bob Evans was in West Melbourne/Palm Bay , Fl and left! Very disappointed. This area is building condos, housing on every available space in the area. Am hoping you take another look at the area as they obviously expect a hugh growth here. Would love to have you return to the area. Never get to your restaurant any more as too far to drive.

After giving this location (Woodhaven Michigan) yet another chance, i can say we will not be returning. In the last couple of years this restaurant has declined at a rapid pace, from cleanliness or lack there of, to not having any of their signature breads, having to wait for a soup order in a very empty restaurant for over 40 minutes just to be told the rest of our order is ready just not the soup ???? Tonight was the last straw, coffee was warm not hot, eggs were under done the whites were not totally done, the sausage gravy was very thick and barely luke warm. To me there is NO excuse for cold food, especially when people were standing around doing nothing. My husband saw when the food came up and yes it was delivered promptly so why was it cold ???? The management in this location is poor at best i would grade it D- maybe even F. It is not just us that feel this way people in our area are saying the same thing. Once upon a time this place was GREAT, consistently great food, always hot even when busy. I don’t know what the heck happened, but it makes me second guess going to ANY Bob Evans in the future. Something needs to be done at this location starting with firing ALL of the managers at this location and bringing in someone that actually gives a damn because they sure as hell don’t. Thank you for listening, i hope my words don’t fall by the way side……might i also add that it seems impossible to leave negative comments on your customer service site because as soon as i hit submit it does absolutely nothing, will you also do absolutely nothing ? Only time will tell 😐
