    HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY

    I made an order earlier today thru Instacart from Kroger. I have had problems & issues for months with Instacart well before the pandemic so that is NOT the problem.

    I ordered for delivery within 2 hours. It clearly said “NO SUBSTITUTES” and was marked for text communication during my order. This is always problems since they never text and substitute at will.

    Today I got the initial text saying received the order request and would text when shopping was started. Three (3) hours later I had had no communication. I checked my e-mail and had one from Kroger advising shopping was complete and was sent 1.5 hours earlier. Iive 4 miles from the Kroger.

    Called Instacart and they called the driver but promptly hung-up. They did not call back but sent an e-mail saying driver couldn’t find my house and could not reach me. Address was same and NO phone calls, text or e-mail were sent until this one. I called back & requested a supervisor. Was told on another line and would call back within 5-20 minutes. After that got second e-mail asking if wanted redelivery or Instacart credit. My response was “their credit was a joke” and requested redelivery NOW.
    Still no response 45 minutes later.

    Kroger was told that was delivered 3 hours before. Either they lied to Kroger or to me, and I have my tespones in writing.

    I advised Kroger o will never use this service again. And I was using it because i am handicap and don’t drive.

    This company needs to be rated “zero”. The highest rating from the various services was 1.3. This has to tell you something. Need to shut down, revamp & start over their company or just shut down.

    STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY

      They treat their employees the same way they lie to their employees makeup complaints about them that are not true and then fire them and if there’s a complaint against them they do not investigate three-quarters of the time the client line to get free stuff and the drivers are fired without investigating even if you prove the clients were wrong they don’t care they still fire you I’m fighting them now I prove my innocence but they don’t care

    To whom it may concern,
    My name is Jenny and I share the account with my mother Marie. I used instacart because it was a convenient service due to the pandemic. I shop numerous times and never any issues. Until one day I tried to change my order and my account was deactivated. I contacted customer service and received an email requesting proof of ID and CC. I felt extremely uncomfortable sending out personal information to whomever. After further discussion, I decided to continue with the service and send in my mother’s information since the CC was under her name because you do not accept prepaid cards which is what I have personally. It took a couple of days with no answer from this company and I finally decided to call again. Later on, I received another e-mail requesting proof of my ID and a Selfie with the ID beside me. I send my ID information. Now a selfie. Is that the new normal? Is Government Identification now useless? I even sent proof of my BJ’s account showing my mother as part of the account. I honestly feel extremely insulted and disappointed by this company.
    Since I do not send selfies I requested to be contacted via video call and as well as a copy of this company policy requiring this type of information. I hope instacart can do due diligence in investigating this matter. I have all the e-mails and attachments provide to instacart representative.

    Please someone, help.
    I am having a huge problem with Instacart as a Shopper. I have spent $245 of my own money and can’t get reimbursed. After trying to get help numerous times, my account was disconnected! Now, have no way to even resubmit for reimbursement.

    Several people on the support line told me I could email help, but I got returned email saying this email was no longer in service.

    I have been on hold for total of 8 hrs been hung up or disconnected 4 times all to try get 10 credit for being new customer! You should be ashamed of yourselves!

    I placed a grocery order on Saturday March 28. 2020 with my local Kroger Grocery Store. The store’s location is 630
    Thornton Rd. Lithia Springs. GA 30122. Michael was the delivery person from Instacart. There were 3 items missing from my order, (2) bags Lays Potatoes Chips. tomatoes and Romans Lettuce. There may have been other items I couldn’t go back and verify my order. We had texted a few times during the order purchase. He had to replace some items. After he delivered my order, I immediately tried to text him back after looking at my order. I never got a response back from him. I sent him three text messages. I tried calling Kroger and they said there was not anything they could do without me coming into the store today. I have knee issues. that why I was using Instacart.

    I have used instacart before and had not had any problems with the service. I’m very dissatisfied with the service I received today. I would like your company to reimburse me for the missing items. My contact is listed below:
