I have been with direct for a long time and I am at the point I am sick and tired of them they are always raising prices they have nothing for seniors who at home all day with nothing on tv and prices are getting so high we have to let it go . The customer service agents are not helpful or caring at its all about the dollars. This is the only cable company that have so many fees it hardship to keep up. I rate this company a 0 for a lot of reasons so time to another way to get entertainment I guess streaming is all that’s left. It is rough out here you can’t go anywhere and there is nothing on tv

Davis Please tell me why all or at least most of your recent segments are imbeded with the SAFP electronic narrative. It is disruptive and horribly annoying . Why are most of us forced to get rid of it Why not let anyone who wants it opt in . I don’t need this weird voice telling me that “someone is pouring a cup of coffee” , when I am watching that someone pouring a cup of coffee”. REDUNDANT !!! Please do something about this!!! Thank you.

The Great Gatsby is a 1925 novel by American writer F. Scott Fitzgerald. Set in the Jazz Age on Long Island, near New York City, the novel depicts first-person narrator Nick Carraway’s interactions with mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby and Gatsby’s obsession with his former lover, Daisy Buchanan. The book was inspired by a youthful romance Fitzgerald had with socialite Ginevra King, and the riotous parties he attended on Long Island’s North Shore in 1922. The Great Gatsby received favorable reviews but was a commercial disappointment, selling fewer than 20,000 copies in the first six months. At the time of the author’s death in 1940, he believed himself to be a failure and his work forgotten. During World War II, the novel surged in popularity when the Council on Books in Wartime distributed free copies to American soldiers serving overseas. This newfound popularity launched a critical re-examination, and now the book is widely considered to be a literary masterwork
