I would like very much to see a Meijers store open in Thomson Ga . we are 15 minutes from Augusta GA with several towns closer . We currently have a shopping choice of WalMart which people around this area don’t care for. putting a Meijers here would bring in job’s but customers would come from miles around to shop with your store.

July 14th 3:30. Just went shopping at the Meijer 9701 Belleville Rd. Belleville, MI 48111. It is absolutely absurd two cashiers open and 8 people standing at the door to make sure you have a mask on. I couldn’t purchase everything I needed there because of missing products from shelves, and couldn’t find any one around to look to see if it was back. Maybe you should use the people standing around policing the doors to stock the shelves and open up lanes to get people out of the store instead them having to stand in line for 45 minutes.

So I went to the Meijer store on Central Avenue in Sylvania, Ohio on Friday morning at 6am. I was trying to avoid people. What I did not expect was that half of the employees stocking shelves had their masks pulled below their noses. The cashier that I checked out with had a mask with such worn out stretched out elastic that it kept falling below her nose to her chin. She probably touched that mask between 8-10 times during my $150.00 check out. Now I made sure that I had on a mask that was secure and covered my mouth and nose to keep everyone safe from me. Those employees were doing nothing that made me feel safe about their germs especially the cashier. Won’t be going back there. THAT is for sure.

Please STOP with the mask nonsense! They are not needed for the employees in the store. You are being played and being sheep in the process. We are free people! Just stop! Move past this scare tactic. The Democrats only did this to try and hurt President Trump. It does not work. Only hospitals/medical personnel need them. That’s it.

I usually shop at the Meier in Noblesville, Indiana. But O am tired of trying to distance from the many customers who are not wearing masks. Until they are required of customers coming into the stores, we will be shopping at Kroger.
I do appreciate that I see carts being wiped down when I come into the store. But about half the shoppers don’t have masks and I don’t feel safe. I wear one to protect others. I would appreciate if others had the same consideration for me.

Meijer can conduct business more safely for employees, distributors, and customers by doing this:

    1) Make ALL business on a pick up or delivery basis.

    2) Increase online shopping opportunities and grow your sales simultaneously by closing interior doors to all but personnel. Put employees to work restocking and filling orders and processing online payments and sending customers a pick up time. Right now arranging for pickup service is abysmal. Your chief competition is not doing this right either.

    3) Provide all of your employees with protective gloves and facemasks and sanitizer. When a customer comes for pick up, you can either put groceries in the vestibule so customers pick up from there or Meijer personnel can deliver to cars and load them. Either way, eliminate or limit exposure to COVID-19.

Thank you. With inadequate PPEs, testing, and medical facilities, it appears that we in the US are going to be dealing with this pandemic for months and it would be very smart of Meijer to act quickly to improve shopping and build your business while making it more possible for people to get food and necessary supplies.

Shame on Meijer for luring us all to an ill-equipped Senior and vulnerable person time for ONE HOUR this Tuesday morning! One hour drew an unbelievable amount of people rushing through the produce department, in particular. Six feet apart? Are you kidding? We have stayed at home for two weeks and finally ventured out for a few groceries. We DO NOT hoard. All the precautions of the past two weeks were canceled out after walking from the front of the store to the back and coming face to face with a herd of people. Maybe a two hour time slot would make a bit more sense. And as for closing to stock shelves. Not happening. We did not need paper products, but no dried beans or raw chicken or a few other surprising empty slots. The checkout lines were packed, so we did our own — which probably saved us from other close contact. From there, we went to Wal-Mart where we found some items and space and friendly workers. Staying away from Jenison Meijer for a while!

Why is Meijer allowing a contracted business of cosmetic merchandisers in their stores when we have a stay at home order in place? Doing a cosmetic reset is not essential to the store staying open and these companies are telling their employees that they are essential and have to go to work. Meijer and Kroger are the only stores left that have not re-scheduled these cosmetic resets to a later date. If we ALL just follow the rules they have set forth we might have a chance of getting this virus cleared up faster so everyone can get back to work sooner rather than later.

I REALLY ENJOY THE COUPON SAVINGS YOU SEND OUT MONTHLY. THEY ONLY SAVE ME A FEW DOLLARS BUT I USE THEM FAITHFULLY. I LIKE THE IDEA THAT YOU HAVE A PROGRAM TO TRACK MY PURCHASES. I CONSIDER IT YOUR WAY OF THANKING ME FOR SHOPPING THERE.
    KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

This should go to the buyers of paper goods at Meijer. I have been purchasing you tissue for a long time. I liked the price and quality compared to Kleenex and Puffs The last time I purchased your tissues ( probably about 3 weeks ago) the quality of the are poor. You must have changed your suppliers for the tissue. The are thin and not as strong as they used to be. I will not be buying your store brand anymore. I have been shopping at Meijer for 60 years and I love your store.
    Thank You

In your mPerks Flash Sale! 1 Days only – Friday & Saturday You advertised the IPad 6th Gen 32 GB – $249.00.

I went to the store in Westland at 10:30 and they did not have any….we called a couple of other stores including the Wixom store and was told they had none. Why would you advertise if you did not plan on having any at the stores?

I was wanting to see if there is a chance that we could get a Meijers store at the south end of Lebanon, ohio. I am feed up with Krogers from week to week you never know where to find things because they keep moving them. I do not like to grocery shop let alone spend my day in K rogers going frome one to the other and back, I feel sorry for the people that come on a bus and have a certain time to be ready, there are people that do not feel good and would like to hurry and get home also people have someone sick at home and need to get home soon. for years you could go to the grocery store every week and just know where to find what was on your list, (I know why they do it) They are greedy and think of no one but themselfs . I always shopped at a Meijers until I moved and miss it , I liked your produce a lot better than Krogers also the way you had your store set up, the store in Lebanon is so big you are wore out when you get home. I have a lot of friends that would like your store to come to Lebanon also when I am shopping there are strangers making remarks to me about Krogers. Hope you can help me.

I disagree with your request for people to not carry their guns in your stores. That is just the opposite of what needs to be done. Since all of the retail stores only have loss prevention not Security Guards. Possibly if one customer would have had a gun they could have saved many life’s. There has to be one set of rules that every State has to follow. In many states people sell guns on a hand shake, because private sales don’t do background checks. That is one of the biggest problem, then there is the Street Black Market which is you got the money you got the gun! It isn’t the legal citizen that can pass a background check. Restrictions on ammunition, gun sales to the legal citizen just makes them unable to protect themselves from the illegal guns that could be to kill.
