Hello. I bought this ceramic tree last week. So happy to have found it!
However, there were 3 in store. 2 had missing lights. So I took the third. Since it seems to be likely the lights fall out easily, I asked the manager if I could have (buy) a few off the other tree since most likely it will be returned as damaged. He said no. He told me there are some replacement bulbs with the miniature dollhouse items. Well. Those are 1/4 of the size. I told him. No luck.
Long story short, I got mine home and it has one missing light in the back. Darn. I know there aren’t any complete trees in the store. And I know he won’t sell any off a broken tree.
I love hobby lobby. But I’m beginning to find associates a bit abrasive and not helpful.
Can you help me? I love this tree. I’m not happy the manager was not sensitive to a very small solution to my problem.
I just need a few lights. Please. Onalaska Wi. Store

I have been a FIRM Hobby Lobby loyalist for more years than I can remember. That has now changed after they stiffed me over a Christmas tree. We wanted a 7.5’ tree but we were sold a 9’ tree. We didn’t really notice because we didn’t formally inspect all of the writing on the box(my fault)plus it was loaded along with the other items that we bought, close to $1000 worth in fact. Since we were moving from one house to another we actually put the tree in the pod with the rest of our boxes. Once we moved and decided to put up our tree it was discovered that we were sold the wrong one. When I tried to return it and explained what happened I was told sorry but no. I explained that I didn’t want any money back just the correct size tree. I was never rude nor argumentative with the associate but I was met with rudeness plus the manager would not speak directly to me. I was then asked to leave with my tree because there were other customers in line waiting to make their purchases. I have MS so it was a little hard to lug that heavy tree around by myself. There was at least one decent employee there though and he helped me out with loading the tree back in my truck while constantly apologizing for how everything had played out. Now, I am a FORMER Hobby Lobby loyalist.

I needed to write about Nicole, the assistant manager at the West St. Paul, Minnesota Hobby Lobby. She is the kind of person that every retail store would love to employ! I will definitely go out of my way to go to this store.
She was not only the most helpful person, but she was also so sweet and knowledgeable about the products in the store.
I hope Hobby Lobby corporate officers recognize her gifts and talents and realize that successful stores are built by people like her!

    Customer Request/suggestion:
You have over a million items in the stores. It would be really useful if you had an item location system, such as A1…Z99 to identify the type of items and in which area of the store. We needed items for a project, and had to go through half the store to try and find it. Finally asked one of the cashiers and she was able to tell us the items were at an ‘end cap’ in a location she pointed to with her finger. If we had the ability to look things up ourselves, that would make shopping much easier. I’m disabled, and having to search the entire store is painful. So if anything, as an improvement for the disabled / handicapped, can you put in a mapping system, like in some other stores to make life easier? It discourages shopping in your store if you have to actually walk a mile to pick up the items you need. Mapping at the entrance, electronic index and pricing, and/or online item location lookups, so that I can lookup the item, know if it’s in stock, the price, and the location where I can pick it up.
    Appreciate it.
    Thank you.

I came to the page looking for an email address to send pictures and information too about the local Hobby Lobby but it says email address not available.
I used to love going to Hobby Lobby but over the last year the Odessa, Tx location has went downhill. The nasty filth in the store is worse every time I go!
The bathrooms are so disgusting I wanted to gag when I went in there.
There was not a Ton of shoppers in the store when I was there so they weee not too busy to clean the bathrooms!
One employee was sitting on a ladder talking to an employee who was putting up chains in the jewelry section for quite a while. The manager even came over and chatted with them for a minute and left so clearly they had plenty of time to clean rather than chit chat! I took the pictures of the bathrooms and on my way out passed right by the manager who was the one I later seen talking to the other employees.
My origin plan was to contact the manager of the store but decided going to corporate would probably be the better option since he clearly knows what the conditions are in the store and things only seem to be getting worse in the nasty place!
And I haven’t even mentioned how hard it is to get anyone to help you when you need fabric or need an item of the top shelves! That’s a whole new subject in itself!!
I made 2 pretty large purchases 4 days apart from each other.
Next time I will go to Jo Ann’s at least their store is clean!
I guess since an email is. It available to send my pictures to corporate I will print them an mail them in and hope someone actually opens and reads the info and does something about it.

Wow, I had the same experience when I visited the Coral Springs, Florida store on March 7th. Four male associates and the store manager all told me they were too busy with other customers to help me. Maybe the store managers are trained to be “Customer Unfriendly.”

I am not sure who the male “manager” was who was on duty at the Hobby Lobby on Market street in Akron Ohio on Saturday March 3 rd about noon, was but to say the very least he was nothing short of Rude. I simply started to ask a question and without even looking at me while bending over said “ no one is angiworking in the floral department and I m helping another customer. I don’t think he could have been any ruder. I simply turned around, returned my shopping cart and walked out. There are too many craft type stores in that area to be treated that way in a “Christian” store. Needless to say, I will NEVER shop at Hobby Lobby again. Totally uncalled for. But I will pray for that miserable and unhappy gentleman
