Had same horrible customer service experience:
Beware folks — Hobby Lobby — deceiving !!! Very bad customer service IN the store and online :
The NEW Hobby Lobby store in Wesley Chapel did not have what I was looking for nor have items that were on sale. After NOT receiving any help or proper customer service in this new store, I ordered the items online at HobbyLobby.com.. It seemed easy enough ordering online, HOWEVER …. it took a very long time to come and on one package, a fragile item inside was broken !! I contacted Hobby Lobby.com right away sending pictures of the broken item that was packed so poorly. Two weeks later now I still have not had my broken item replaced ! They responded once to my email stating they will refund me or replace my item . I told them I wanted the item therefore I want a REPLACEMENT . I then received a second email saying sorry this happened to you and demanding a answer a list of questions —- QUESTIONS I ANSWERED responding to Hobby Lobby customer service THE FIRST TIME !!! This email saying, failure to give them the order #. Sku#, tracking number from shipping box, along with pictures — seriously !!!?????!!! All this info Hobby Lobby not only has because I sent an email to them providing them with it the FIRST time, I actually ORDERD FROM THEM !!!! They have the information …. all they have been doing is dragging their feet ! Hobby Lobby has a beautiful store and beautiful items in the store, but Hobby Lobby customer service IN THE STORE and at HOBBYLOBBY.com is THE WORST I have seen in a long long time !!!!! First they put things on sale in their store and then don’t have item in stock . The customer service in the new Wesley Chapel store is the absolute worse as well !!! Just terrible !! I order an item online because they do not have it in their stores (and no customer service offers to help) then it comes broken! The customer service in the store is so busy rearranging and stocking shelves they ignore the customers !! TERRIBLE !!! — Hobby Lobby has yet to replace the item that came damaged due to poor packing ! Just horrible !
Beware folks — wolf in sheep’s clothing — beautiful store and items but wickedly bad customer service !!! Still waiting for my replacement !!

I placed my 1st order June 6. A packing label was generated June 7th. That was the last action since then. According to tracking and FedEx my order been sitting in your warehouse For 18 days. I’ve sent 5 emails. Only one stated it was sent. It has not. To say I’m frustrated is an understatement. I’ve gone out of my way to support Hobby Lobby. Your falling down on the job.

I have emailed customer service several times with no results. I purchased fabric to reupholster a chair (my first attempt). I am now doing the matching chair and am short on a couple of fabrics as I am doing four different fabrics on the chairs. When Hobby Lobby re -opened I went in to see if they had the fabric which they did not. So now what. My hope was they could check there inventory or give me their fabric source so I could talk with them about my needed fabric. However, no one has reached out to me. As I said I’ve reached out to their customer service dept several times over the last month.
I understand the covid19 has upset routines but, since no one has contacted me I have to wonder if Hobby Lobby just doesn’t need my money. It makes me question buying fabric from them again.

Today I went to your store to pick-up material that I had also purchased the day before. I called the store first and had the material cut and ready for pick-up. I waited outside store 40 minutes to get in. Why not have a “Pick-Up” area that is readily available to customers? Additionally why were employees standing around, talking and cleaning product that was in a shopping cart without gloves on next to the Cashier? Shared my thoughts with Store Manager (Bob) outside the store after purchase. He said he would get my suggestions up the ladder. Customer satisfaction, as well as meeting all State and Federal laws can be handled at the same time. Just a few suggestion from a devoted customer.

I understand Hobby Lobby Oklahoma is closed and trucks are not running.
I may lose my job over this and I hope not, but that would be typical.
Do you think it’s fair or right that you stay home while hundreds if not thousands of employees have to go to their (your) stores and expose themselves to this deadly virus going around? You the owners have it easy just setting home safe while your employees, who do not have that luxury, bring in the money for you.
I guess money really is more important than human life.
My wife is worried sick that I’m going to bring home the virus. Even before COVID 19 hit the world you’ve expressed the importance of money. What happened to employee raises? Why no vision package offered with insurance? Especially since the economy was doing so well under President Trump, did you spread the wealth like other companies?
Please forgive me but I’m angry and I’m worried. These are very uncertain times.
    Tom

Please open a store in Pasadena-Soutj Pasadena. We have vacant buildings that would be excellent. Our closest store is in Burbank and it’s only 9 miles. However they are heavy traffic miles making getting there a hassle.
    Thank you

I went to get some tassels for a pillow I am designing along with some other items at the Hobby Lobby at Quail Springs in Oklahoma City, Okla. The last couple of months, instead of getting my materials at Michael’s – I stopped in Hobby Lobby! Even though the first lady that assisted me in fabric wasn’t friendly, I still returned for the yarn I used to make my blanket. And today for tassels, thread, zippers and needles!!!

Today, two women in fabric all but ignored the fact that I was there. They continued talking to each other as though I wasn’t standing there waiting on them to finish their conversation. They didn’t even have the common courtesy to say: we will be with you in a minute!!! I told the Manager as I walked out, but he wasn’t going to do anything about it! It is unfortunate that customers are ignored when all I wanted was to spend money!!! GREEN MONEY!!!!! Check the store video!
