I think that any person that refuses to wear a mask is a self centered idiot. It’s not about you, it is about others that are high risk and could die if they get the virus.
What should be done here is names, and addresses taken for everyone caught not social distancing or not wearing a mask when they should, and the information put into a database. If that person gets the viris, then their health insurance dont have to pay. In addition, hospital bed priority given to those who wear a mask, and those who dont would only get a bed if no one else is waiting. Shame on you self centered people that have no thought or concern for others. I would be willing to bet that those who are complaining are also smokers as they fit into the same catagory and think the same about exposing others to their foul stitch smoke.

      Rich,
I think you should think about who’s selfish. Is it the person not worried about the virus and wants to live an everyday life or the person who fears it and expects everyone else to bow down to their insecurities. If you don’t want to catch the virus you have the option to stay home or wear a truly effective mask that will prevent you from getting it. Why is it my responsibility to make sure you stay healthy? Do you want me to come to your house to plan your meals and exercise routine?
Do you get this vocal when you get the flu from someone at work? Sure you probably get upset but I’m sure you get over it. It’s probably a good time for you to grow up and take responsibility for yourself and most of all quit blaming others for your phobias.

We are always doing one project or another and spend a large amount of money at Menards. Today was the worst experience we have ever had at Menards. We went to Menards in Findlay, Ohio to pick up special order siding that was in and spent $400 plus more after that. We went to the gate to go in and get our items. The young kid at the gate was so rude right off! My husband attempted to ask him a question and he just went back into the little area. I even said, “hey, hello” nope he just ignored us. My husband spoke with a manager as he was grabbing his items, about the situation, he also did not care. So I suppose Menards Moto is “come on in and spent lots of money, but please don’t expect to be treated with respect!” We were at Menards gate in Findlay, Ohio at 7:40 p.m. Aug 1st, 2020. I guarantee we will be taking our business elsewhere! Lowe’s offers the same items! I suggest employees get better customer service training! I’ve heard of many other friends and family having issues with Menards lately. I hope Menards does not think they are special and people will put up with this treatment. I am so beyond upset right now.

I’ve been a customer of Menards for over 20 yrs. I have shopped at several locations monthly, weekly, sometimes daily when doing home remodeling. Not once have I been turned away or had a problem with a store that wasn’t resolved.

    Until this morning.

I tried to enter the store @ 2311 Taylor Ave in Norfolk, NE about 8:45am today. I was not wearing a mask. When an employee stopped me and told me I must wear a mask, I told her ‘There are many reasons I won’t wear a mask and one is medical’. She refused to let me enter to shop. Then an agent of the store, I believe he had a shirt on that indicated he was a ‘Pinkerton’ agent stopped me. He wasn’t wearing a mask but what looked like a gator not designed to filter anything but large particles.

He told me it was private property and that I needed to wear a mask. Again I told him, ‘There are many reasons I won’t wear a mask, one of which is medical.’ He refused to let me enter so I said fine and turned to walk out. He said ‘Have a nice day’ which sounded sarcastic. I called him ‘gestapo’.

Nebraska doesn’t have a state wide ‘mandate’ so I am certainly not required to wear a mask. I think it is a violation of my civil rights and I feel I was discriminated against. I have several valid reasons NOT to wear a mask and refuse to be forced to do so.

You should also boycott seatbelts too. I mean they have no rihgt ot force you to wear a seat belo=t. What about that bike helmet. Heck, cloths as far as this goes. Why should you have to wear cloths . If it doesn’t hurt you it cant hurt any one else either, right?

LISA MADE A STATEMENT AND TOLD MY HUSBAND HE COULD HAVE TOOK A PICTURE OF THE PRICE OF THE DOORS WE PURCHASED 3 DAYS PRIOR TO US COMING IN! HE ONLY WENT UPSTAIRS AND TOOK THE PICTURE BECAUSE SHE AND PERSON LOOKING FOR PRICE WAS TAKING LONG AT REGISTER HOLDING EVERYTHING UP! HE WENT UPSTAIRS TOOK THE PRICE AND CAME BACK STAIRS AND THEY STILL HADN’T GOT THE PRICE. THE DOORS WERE RINGING UP THE WRONG PRICE. SHE MADE A VERY APPROPRIATE STATEMENT,SHE THEN BEGAN TO CUT ME OFF WHEN I WAS TELLING HER WE ARE HARD WORKERS,PROPERTY OWNERS AND RESPECTED CITIZENS OF OUR COMMUNITY AND DON’T HAVE TIME TO TRY AND PRICE GOUGE ANYONE.WE SPENT 1000+ AND SHE WAS NOT APOLOGETIC AT ALL. THE GM JOSH SUPPOSE TO HAVE HAD A CONVERSATION WITH HER TODAY??? NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL.HE SAID NOTHING TO MAKE US FEEL BETTER AT ALL. WITH ALL THAT IS GOING ON TODAY, NO ONE SHOULD BE WORKING THERE MAKING OR THINKING STATEMENTS LIKE THAT. THIS IS NOT THE END OF THIS!!!!

I am having a terrible time getting an online order delivered. I purchased a vanity on 3/24/20 online. It stated it would be delivered April 7. April 7th it stated April 13th, the date kept moving and finally it stopped getting updated. I have been in contact with Alexander Devarajan and a person by the name of Karthik, Kevin and Abby Glavan through multiple emails. The last email on 6/3 said it would be delivered on or before 6/10/20. I have not received it and no one is returning my emails or calls.

I have spent thousands of dollars at Menards through the years. I am not allowed to enter the Menards store anymore due to the fact that I cannot medically wear a mask. I even have a letter to that effect from my Therapist, which is a doctor. Therefor, Menards will not let me do business with them. I feel that this is discrimination to me personally. I will be following up with an official letter of intent and contacting my lawyer to see why this would happen. If you have a public business and will not let someone use that business it is discrimination.

I will be waiting to here from your corporate office soon.

Oh, by the way, Lowes already has a good amount of money from me now.

I was discriminated against the other day for same reasons. Even after I told the security guard and the service desk person that under the Americans Disabilities Act – Anyone that has Disabilities that can be exasperated by wearing a mask is exempt from wearing one. I live in KS even my idiot demorat governor’s executive saying those same people are exempt they STILL REFUSED ME ENTRY AND MY WIFE WITH SIMILAR ISSUES. I tried to call Corporate about it they transferred me to a voicemail saying to send a letter or e-mail which we will we know will be shredded or deleted “accidentally”. I have tried calling back and Corporate refuses to pick up the phone I guess since I have a complaint they put somekind of block on my phone so it doesn’t get answered. Their refusal to allow people with disabilities that are triggered by wearing a mask is A VIOLATION OF THE ADA I hope your lawyer isn’t a whimp and sues them big. Me personally I’m paying off my CC and taking my business elsewhere. BTW I went to HARBOR FREIGHT down the road found what I needed – no mask staff was very helpful. Didn’t have enough on me for everything but will be back next pay check to get the rest of what I need. They even said I could look up what I needed call the store and they would have it ready for pickup at the checkout when I arrived.
Bye bye Menards, Hello Harbor Freight they care about customers.

Upon visiting Menard Southwest Fort Wayne IN already agrivated about the requirement of doning a mask upon entry, i discovered that your restroom are not equipt with papertowel despensers. One of the first and earliest requirements of CDC was the deactivation of the hand driers and the availability of papertowels being made. Why are masks now required after weeks and weeks of no such requirement of customers? And if Menards is making provisions to keep its customers safe by this require of masks then corporate has really slipped on some rules and not others. Could this be possibly due to the inconvenience? By the way, Menards is the only store in all of Fort Wayne to require masks and has frankly, deterred me from shopping at your locations. If and when I do shop at Menards again and are required to don a mask, I expect to see papertowels in the restroom. I was personally responsible for implementing CDC safety requirements at my place of employment upon the onset of Covid19 and I know who to contact if i dont see this action item corrected. We are all in this together, right?

I am (was) a regular Menard’s customer. Lately it appears Menard’s Corp. is twisting itself into a pretzel trying to get people back into it’s stores by extending the 11% off offer seemingly into perpetuity. But they could get me to come back, simply by eliminating their idiotic customer mask requirement. But I know they won’t do that…..

I will no longer be shopping at Menards, after 40+ years of doing so.

I was in a Menards this week and the store has started to mandate masks
to enter the store. They sell them for $1. This freaked me out.
Four months late to the dance, and counterproductive for achieving
    population immunity to Covid-19..

To mix metaphors, we have created a social warp in the space-time continuum.
Life may never be the same. A grotesque New Normal?

    Comment from Powerline:
A good case can be made that the “task” of government is to fabricate problems —
i.e., to create conditions that permit government flacks to claim that
“only your government can cope with this on your behalf.”

    H. L. Mencken certainly thought so:
The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed
(and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless
    series of hobgoblins.

Why after months of being open is menards in Terre Haute requiring a mask. THE ONLY STORE IN TERRE HAUTE TO REQUIRE A MASK. Then they charge you a $1 if you don’t have one. Multiple people are complaining as they have called the mayors office and governor’s office. Some has called the ADA Department of Justice.

Having to wear a mask or buy a mask from you is “control” If customers have a mask &wear it i have no problem!!!!!!!! But your new rules bypass our freedom. I will now curtail if not stop shopping for etc. at Menards!!! There are other places to go in which I will.

Hi my name is Mark Coon, I worked for Midwest Manufacturing from 5/2016 to 3/2018, my place caught fire and I lost my tax records. I need my 2017 and 2018 tax forms from you, so I can go back to school. MY FAFSA application is now on hold because I need these forms. I went into the Menards portal and those papers no longer are there. Could i possible get a copy of these tax forms. As of Monday I’ll have to put school on another hold. I’ve tried for a week to get these papers from you. Someone said i had to write a letter to corporate. If that’s what I have to do then let’s get that out of the way. I’m actually going back to school, so i can come back to Menards in a higher position and on salary.

I don’t believe that the GM for the Washington IL store is doing the right thing. The store had two Inventory positions available and they have been available for about a month now. There are quite a few employees within the Washington IL store that have applied for this position and the GM is not taking any steps to fill the position. Numerous employees that have applied for this position including myself and the GM said that there are no people interested in the positions. Therefore only two people are currently on the inventory team and are expected to do a four person team job. There is currently no team lead for Inventory which is one of the positions that is available. I just feel like the GM should be taking these positions that are opened and the Employees within the Washington IL store that have applied a little more serious so that the inventory team doesn’t get behind because they now only have two members instead of the four that they need.
