    UNTRAINED EMPLOYEES !! I am writing to you in regards to a damaged package Tracking #1ZA9V9650399615418 that was mailed out for me from Staples, UPS service center in Ellicott City MD, 4380-B Montgomery Road on May 6th. to my home in Foxboro Mass., I called Staples in advance and was told that UPS will ship alcohol; it was not a problem. I packed each bottle in bubble wrap as well as wine glasses. I did not seal the box, as I wanted to make sure the Staples representative could I was mailing 4 bottles of wine and four wine glasses and help me properly pack to ship. A young girl reviewed the shipment and together we sealed the box at the store. I asked her several times if they had another box or something special for fragile breakable items to be shipped in and would be happy to pay any additional cost. She said no. She assured me it was well packed; then she took a black sharpie and began writing in “fragile” on the box. Needless to say the package never arrived. I was directed to the Staples claims department who informed me that I would not be compensated for the loss. Apparently, UPS does not ship alcohol and unless Staples wraps the package with “their” packing materials, they are not responsible for its care in shipment. As a PAYING customer, I expect that what the sales representative is telling me is accurate and true information; I had no reason to mistrust her. Staples has the responsibility to train their employees who sub-contractor for UPS to properly inform the customer of the “rules and regulations of shipping with Staples and UPS”. This did not happen and could not have, because the employee had no idea!! She obviously had not been trained. WHY am I being penalized for and EMPLOYEE ERROR !!! I expect the store to take responsibility for this error and compensate me for the loss of the contents of missing package!! Further, if for some reason you will not compensating me for this loss, then I fully expect to see photos and proof that my package was indeed damaged and not lost or stolen. This entire process is completely unacceptable, if you choose to represent UPS, then it is your responsibility to have a well-trained staff available.

    I have been trying to place a $300.00 plus order on your web site for almost 2 weeks. Every time the cart asks for shipping preferences after you select anyone you will get a error message. The order cannot be placed. I have tried on three different computers, two different networks and finally I went to the store and got the same results on a staples network computer.
    I have told numerous support people and the people in the store could not have cared less. No one stopped to tell anyone that there was a problem. Their response to me was come back tomorrow – they have got to be kidding. How much business have you lost over the last two weeks or maybe longer? My company has been a long time staples customer, and I have used that particular site before. It seems like no one cares about your customers or your operations. I will have to take my business elsewhere.

    I would like to know who to contact to become a service provider for Staples.
    Abba Computer Systems Inc. has been in business in Ocala Florida for 22 years
    and provide desktop, laptop, tablet and printer repair. I understand that Staples sends out most of their repairs. I have customers who complain because it take 2 weeks to get their computer back. Abba Computers can offer a 2- 3 day return on most repairs even cracked screens and motherboard replacements. We will pick up at the store location and return to the store, pick up and delivery will be free. I know of three stores we can cover, Ocala, Gainesville, and The Villages. We can also go out further depending on quantity of repairs.
    Our Technicians are A+ certifies and have other certifications as well.
