    I have been trying to reach a human customer service representative for several hours. This is absurd. Verizon has by far, the worst customer service. Monopoly suits you corporate jackels

    I have had an account for 11 years. Still have a 5c phone: I have always carried the insurance which includes the extended warranty. I have not taken any upgrades over the years that were offered. My phone is not working correctly so I called tech support. 4 hours on the phone running test to determine if I qualify for a replacement phone. The results is that I was required to go into a “ company” store so a tech there could continue troubleshooting. After three hours it was concluded that the phone was not operating correctly. Then I was required to make another phone call; (I stayed in the store).after another hour and a half I had been transferred four times where I was required to start over from the start with a detailed discription of my issue. At each step the Verizon agent assured me that they were making notations on my account. After two days and over eight hours the results was that they could not give me a replacement phone that met my needs. At one point, in the first four hour call I was offered an iPhone SE if I could verify at the store that my phone was broken. This phone (iPhone SE) meets my needs in size and capability. I am entitled to an upgrade but after four hours in the store and proof that the phone was broken I was told that there was not a SE in the warehouse. The only option I was given was a iPhone 6 which is larger and less memory. when I asked if I could pay the difference between a 16 gig iPhone 6 to a 32gig iPhone 6; I was told that it would be $850.
    This is the customer support I received to reward my loyalty. Customer service has never been good at Verizon but I am now looking for service at one of your MANY competitors.

    DO YOU HAVE “STRAIGHT TALK” WIRELESS? And are you close to New Milford, PA? I’d like to see how it works around my property – thinking of dumping Verizon . Please contact me if you can help me test it. Comments on either wireless carrier also welcomed. Thank You – Al (I have had bad experiences with Verizon Customer Service and policies – despite being a MAJOR shareholder and it is time to let them go. )

    I have been with verizon for 9 years on my own account 4 years on my mother in laws account, so in total 14 years and in that 14 years I have only been dissatisfied with them one other time until today, I was happy with the unlimited data coming back as I thought great now I will save some money yeah right its only going to save me 17 dollars, I called sprint before calling verizon customer service they have a unlimited talk and text and data for 90 dollars the first 2 lines and the 3rd,4th, and 5th line for free no monthly services fee just the 90 plus tax and fees going this route would save me 120 dollars when I called verizon to ask what they could do for me I was told nothing when I told the rep about sprint having no access fee she could care less and told me I should just switch, as that would be cheaper for me and nothing she could do.
